The hotel was a complete dump ! The bedding was disgusting. Holes and burns and no towels to guest. And what hotel only takes cash. ! I will never ever stay there again. Horrible and shady area. Beware
-
The room was filthy, tiny, and poorly maintained. The windows and shutters were covered in dirt, the bedding had cigarette burn holes, there were broken switches, damaged walls, and even a loose ceiling vent above one of the beds. The entire property looked neglected and unsafe. We did not feel comfortable or safe staying there, especially with a child, and had to leave and find another hotel. This place should not be advertised the way it is. Avoid at all costs. My family decided to check out after 15min there.

Nothing There was no bathroom, there was blood on the walls and ceiling, the window was bolted open, it was so dirty, even the sheets were disgusting, the headboard waa crooked dirty and falling down, no parking, wen I got there I saw the room, and immediately asked for a refund, the front desk told me I had to contact booking.com and so I did and they told me to wait for a call back which I did, and then they told me they couldn't do anything it was up to the hotel to refund me the money. I then went back to the office and told them and they said since it had been an hour i was stuck with the room or I had to call booking.com. it was the worst customer service I will never use booking.com or the bay hotel again!

Nothing. It was a shit hole. Writing, holes all over the walls. Splatters of unknown liquids on the walls, the vent hanging for dear life from the ceiling, horrible AC, cigarette burns in the blankets, mold all over the shower, windows hardly open and flies everywhere, no soap or towels to shower with.

The only thing I liked was the affordability. If you don’t care about where and the conditions you want to stay and just need to pass out after drinking, then stay here. Otherwise, not worth it. The conditions were terrible. The paint was coming off, there were stains everywhere, the TV didn’t work, some light switches wouldn’t work, there were foul odors, and things were falling apart. The only good thing was the front desk person who was nice but the conditions of the room were appalling.

Despite filtering for a hotel with 'breakfast included', this was not the case here - I note the hotel still states this, despite no breakfast available. The TV in the room did not work - I reported it the first day, and it was never resolved. The lightbulb in the reading light taken was missing, this was also reported the first day and never resolved. The microwave plate was missing - based on the prior two issues being ignored, I didn't bother reporting it. The 'hotel' seems to be used for long-term use,, with many 'residents' having their entire belongings in the rooms, leaving a foul odour when the door is open. I was shocked to see an aggressive-looking dog had been left in the corridor outside my room all night, twice. The bathroom/toilet looks as if it it is cleaned once a day.

Prior to arrival, I advised the property that I would be arriving early to drop off my luggage. When I arrived around 10am, I was met by a staff member who appeared unhappy and unwelcoming who had just woken up. My bags were stored in what appeared to be a personal bedroom, which immediately raised concerns about the security of my belongings. When I returned later to check in, I asked whether I could leave my bags for approximately one hour after checkout the following day and was told there would be a $40 charge. This had not been mentioned previously, and when I questioned it, the response felt defensive rather than helpful. After feeling uneasy due to the service and also being uncomfortably greeted by two men wearing balaclavas as they were passing me to go upstairs to their room, I requested to briefly view the room before completing check-in and was refused. When I asked for Wi-Fi access so I could review my booking details, this was also denied. I was then told that unless I paid the full room fee immediately, the conversation would not continue. As a result of the overall interaction, feeling unsafe, poor communication, and lack of customer service, I no longer felt comfortable staying at the property and chose not to proceed with the booking. What has been most disappointing is what happened afterwards. I sent multiple emails outlining my concerns and requesting that the cancellation fee be reviewed. These emails were ignored, no acknowledgement was provided, and no attempt was made to address or resolve the issues raised. Despite this, I was charged the full cancellation fee. Everyone has bad days, but the complete lack of communication and unwillingness to address a genuine customer complaint has left me feeling extremely dissatisfied. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend this property.

Not clean at all

Bed in terrible condition, tape hanging on the wall to keep the bad frame up. Blood on the windows edges. Burn marks and wholes in the blankets. Person in the front said for me to touch the blankets and remove them to replace them knowing theyre filthy and there was brown stains also. Sink table was cracked and the bottom under it was cracked and broken from being wet or soaked for so long. Stool chair very old and dirty with stick stuff. The room was completely unbearable to stay in, there was a smoke detector covered in cardboard from a cereal box. Room service 0-10

Everything ok Thanks

This hotel should not be an option on Expedia. If you are not familiar with San Francisco, you may not know that there are many many people living on the street and probably doing drugs. There is no where to park your car off the street and there is a good chance a car would be broken into in this area. You have to wait for someone to ring you in because it is not a safe area. I checked out the room and decided not to stay there because it was not very nice inside either.

Places. Tv working was the only positive I can possibly give! Check the area out on Google before booking as it’s the most dangerous place in San Francisco!

Was among the cheapest rooms in the city, so I wasn't expecting much and didn't get much. Shared bathroom in the hallway, no coffee, no breakfast as advertised. The lights worked and it came with a bar of soap and had WiFi, that is about all. Very rundown property in what looked like a rough neighborhood. I had to choose between locking the window for safety while I slept or leaving it open to air out with a box fan, as the central fan didn't work. I chose to have a stuffy room.
-
Nothing The room smelled like weed and old urine. Dried up blood on the floor, the smell gave me a headache so I left. I wasn’t expecting great but certainly NOT this.
-
Waited in the lobby for two hours before I could get into my room. Room smelled like human waste and the bedsheet was covered in cigarette burns.

Etc

Terrible place

One step above a crack house. First room had dirty walls, dirty floors, cigarette burns on mattress and holes in blanket, so asked to switch rooms. Second room had more of the same(albeit 10% better), so decided to just ask for blankets and towels and brave it. Turns out, the extra blanket we got also had holes and cigareete burns AND they were only able to offer one towel. STAY AWAY!
