It’s almost impossible to find parking in SF so I was really happy they had parking right on the property

Great location but dated. Could use an outlet by the nightstand, a hook for hand towels and an alarm clock. It was convenient and clean for the price but very basic. Free parking for one vehicle was helpful.

Location was great and free parking was awesome but a little tricky getting into the lot.

I love the breakfast in the morning and beautiful view lookout the window. The room is quite and cosy. Water in bathroom is stable :) The toilet was a bit stuck and no tool to clean it.

Great location! So amazing to have free safe parking in the city. Staff let us park our car since we arrived before check in time which was super helpful. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. There was some city noise as to be expected but otherwise was very quiet, didn't even see another guest until the last day! Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here because of the complimentary parking, but our room, 229 was in terrible shape the was a large rip in the carpeting and cigarette burns as well, The bathroom was tiny and the toilet was sitting on the toilet tank. The room appeared to have never been updated, and some of the advertised features were missing (refrigerator). The neighborhood was depressing and we basically just rushed out of there after sleeping. Very disappointed in the room, and would not stqy here again/

Location was good for us with excellent public transport links. The standard of cleanliness was great. Reception Manager was helpful. Very comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom and bedroom.. Lack of milk and sugar sachets to match the volume of coffee provided. One sachet to every 4 cups seems a bit mean… Rather dated fittings, however, this is positively reflected in the price charged. People smoking directly outside on the pavement. A sign asking people to move away from the entrance could help.

This is a great place to stay! The room was so spacious and very clean. The bed was really comfortable and the showers had good water pressure and lots of hot water. The location is ideal and all of the people at the front desk were kind and helpful to me. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in town next time.

The room was exceptionally clean, I clean vacation rentals so I'm very picky. The beds were extremely comfortable. The TV worked good. There were ample towels amenities of shampoo and soap. The staff was friendly made check in and out easy. The air conditioning worked very well. It was quiet and couldn't hear street noise.

Location suited our needs. Loved the free parking. Room was very clean and plenty of towels!

Great budget hotel close to where I needed to be for a work meeting the next day. Nice touch having parking “included” in the price. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again while in SF!

It is a nicely maintained hotel with clean and quite rooms. There is an elevator so guests don't need to carry luggage upstairs. Except at the moment of check-in, there seems no need to bother the hotel staff.

Room was nicely updated, we had a two queen room and it was cozy for the three of us. A little rearrangement of the chairs helped us move around the room more easily. Bathroom was much bigger than expected. All updated as well. Shower was great, plenty of water pressure and hot water. This hotel is well kept and they take pride in their appearance and maintaining the exterior. One reason for choosing this motel was the included parking. I’ll tell you that the driveways are very narrow and parking is limited. We first tried to park in the basement and that was full as another car was finding out. We backed out and went up the driveway and found one spot marked “small car only” well I made it work and squeezed carefully into that spot. Here is the cherry on top. Before checking out I enquired if we could pay for parking as we wanted to sightsee and would prefer leaving the car in their parking lot. She told me I was welcomed to leave the car all day without any further charge! What?!? Really! That is what will make me come back to stay again. Fantastic and unexpected response. Thank you! Great location too.

This hotel is convenient to Fisherman's wharf and the other north end attractions. Having parking included in the price was a deciding factor. The Castle Inn is a well worn but very clean hotel. I recommend it for the convenience factor and friendly staff.
