Comfort Inn by the Bay

They didn’t give me the room I booked. They told me I could speak to the manager in the morning. The room couldn’t accommodate us. We had to find a different hotel. We should not be charged for this property.

The small fridge in the room was noisy while sleeping.

Nothing to complain with this price and this location. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable. I am able to see the Golden Gate Bridge from my window which is pretty cool

We spent 3 nights here. It’s only about 4 blocks from the Lombard St curve section but it’s a steep climb. We left our car parked and Uber/Lyft everywhere. Convenient location. Think the guy at the desk said it was a 40 minute walk to Pier 39. That’s up a steep hill and then down steep hills so we just rode everywhere. Saves a lot of time. Rooms were really nice and clean. Would definitely stay again.

I absolutely loved our stay and if you’re on the fence about the bay view, it is worth it!

There were several things that made the hotel a poor choice. I called the Hotel before I booked and asked to make sure I would have a refrigerator in our room. Due to medical reason, I have to have a refrigerator to store medications. They assure me it would be no problem. I called again the day before we left. Again, all was supposed to be taken care of. We arrive at the hotel… no refrigerator! My husband called the front desk, they would try! An hour later, they don’t have a fridge but I can store it in their fridge downstairs! At this point i came unglued and went to the front desk. I explained that if I need my meds in the middle of the night, I would be coming down in my pj’s and waking up everyone i can as I come đown 8 floors

Great location to walk to many city highlights. Wish a refrigerator was available and no stairs access from your room to lobby. Long wait for elevators in the morning. A sign to encourage patrons to eat and leave to free up tables for others to eat breakfast in the morning. If you want a sit down and eat, come early. Overall the experience was good.

Clean property and room. Breakfast included was nice. But they charge ridiculous prices for the parking: $35 a night plus taxes!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice aside from the shower expelling as much water as a stream from a broken sprinkler. We had to basically sponge bathe with a wet rag to rinse the soap off of our bodies. The room did not have a microwave or fridge so that wasn't great. The property was clean. The parking was very stressful due to the space being so small and tight. I'm glad that we didn't bring our truck and drove the Kia Sorento instead or we would not have been able to maneuver in the parking area.

The roim was comfortable and the bed was also food. The bathroom was very small. DO NOT TURN ON CHANNEL 11 UNLESS YOU WANT PORN!!! Thank God I didn't have children with me. Breakfast was good tasting but sparse. Overall I think it is to expensive for the overall price.

We selected the bay view and it was the best. It’s reasonable and very satisfied with the stay.

The hotel stay was comfortable

My only issue was the air conditioning it wasn’t cooling the room at all.
