Comfort Inn by the Bay

One thing that did put me off was the taste of the water which they had no control over. The breakfast and the parking were both a plus for me.

Disappointing

The room smelled like an old rug! Extremely old and unclean! I dropped my hairpin and needed to retrieve it under the night stand, so I used the light of my phone, the things that were under the night stand just disgusting! Seems that no vacuum cleaner visited this room for a while. We didn't mind the small bathroom, but the moldy bathtub floor, we did mind. Oh, and no house keeping for 3 days, yeap this was also a thing with this hotel. So, yes, the hotel is located in a very good area, but EVERYTHING else was just horrible. We were very disgusted and disappointed, will NEVER go back and never recommend. Sorry.

Location was great within a moderate walk to where we wanted to go. It was clean and comfortable. Having breakfast there in the morning was a good start to our busy day. It would have been nice to have been given information about restaurants in the vicinity.

No drinking water amenities in the room, staff cleaned the room without replacing the floor towel,and at breakfast they had rotten banana but not willing to replace.

The property is in a great location, for San Francisco touring. But the building, rooms and bathrooms, et are aging badly and need updating. The staff, however, were pleasant and helpful.

Room, had stains on carpet as soon as you walked in to the room , lots of hairs on the mattress and first time that I seen the coffee machine in the restroom… 🤔

Everything was convenient grateful for safe easy parking and a place to stay had everything we neeeded. The double doors didn’t let me sleep in peace i wasn’t aware that door would be there and we thought anyone could come in and the curtains not having a black out option as well as older amenities like stained carpets and couches.

Great spot ! Amazing location. Room service is limited so make sure you have towels before jumping in the shower !

Location was great and staff were kind and helpful. Also the luggage storage service was great for leaving our bags before a later flight home The room was very tired, stains on the chairs, bedding and also weird stains up on the wall which looked a bit like blood .

The rooms were not made up or cleaned daily, but were clean, and well maintained when we started to stay in the hotel. No housekeeping and room service in case of towels and water. The bathroom counter and sink was small. The water pressure of the shower in the tub was very low for all 3 days. We tried to adjust the open and close knob but still the water pressure was very low. Overall, experience was fair.
