This Travelodge was clean and well managed, everything worked fine (shower, outlets, fridge, etc.) The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It is super close walking distance to so many places, and even though we were on the ground floor it wasn't super noisy. It is obviously an older style motel, but it is well kept up and the beds were comfortable too. I would definitely stay there again!

Very convenient and within walking distance to the bay. Staff was very helpful and nice. Room was spacious. Liked the security measure of having to key in to access the elevators and stairs. The only reason it’s a 4 and not 5 is because when the staff cleaned the room, they didn’t leave clean towels at that time. Apparently they come back later to place them. We needed them earlier so I had to go ask the front desk and then search for one of the cleaning staff to get more towels. Overall it was a good stay and I would stay again.

It’s all about location. Not far from the intersection of Lombard and Van Ness, the Travel Lodge was a great place to stay. Although it’s a seasoned property, it was also a great starting point for many adventures in the city. Another wonderful feature was the proximity of the property to some great necessities. Steakhouse, right next-door, Ramen shop across the street, pizza place right next-door, super little coffee shop a few doors down from pizza, liquor, store, one block away. A quick hike up Lombard, and we enjoyed walking down the famous street that most drive. We’ll definitely be staying at this Travelodge in the future!

Clean, but no ice, minifridge, or microwave, overpriced for location

The staff was efficient and friendly. The location is walking distance to my activities.

Stayed in room 104. The drain in the tub was clogged so when showering water would stay filled up about a foot high so your standing in your own dirty water.

I'm very pleased with my choice. Big comforter room. 301 has an AMAZING city view. Balmore was great at serving his public. I would stay here again.
-
The only thing it that smelled a little like old house due to lack of airing the room out. We opened the door and window for a while, and the smell was gone. So my only recommendation is to air the rooms out. For sure will stay there again if I go back to San Francisco.

The location is great, it’s next to a pizza place (good pizza) it’s next to a ramen place and coffee shop (great coffee and pastry’s), the room is a good size, the location is amazing everything was really closed and had easy access to the parking. The place could be a little remodeled and the bathroom was not that clean, found some hairs in the shower

Great location, big room, staff where very helpful
-
Good location. Easy to walk to various tourist spots ie Ghiardelli Square, Cable car, Pier 39, Alcatraz tour, Palace of fine arts.
-
Room had musty smell. First person at reception was rude. Next 2 person were helpful. Top of the room ac units made so much noise
-
Location wasn't bad for our activities. Gentleman working the restaurant was very nice. Stained pillow cases
-
Great location, paper thin walls. The folks in the room above me were stomping, running, and dropping things on the floor every day from 8pm to 11am. Didn’t get more than an hour of sleep any of the 4 nights I stayed. Hopefully you get lucky and have respectful guests above you!
-
Not a whole lot for what I paid for. It was not a close to the wharf as it was advertised. The pictures on the website are very deceiving. The staff was less than cordial and acted like we out them out just being there. For what I paid for the room I would expected a lot better condition.

Very nice place. Hidden from traffic and the bustle of the businesses next door. Clean, affordable and very well taken care of. Great staff too. Check-in was quick and easy. Would stay again and recommend.
