Motel 6 San Francisco, CA - Fisherman's Wharf

I stayed here numerous times and I love it it’s very safe the beds are comfortable and it’s close to fisherman’s wharf which is what I like about it and the staff is very friendly

Very disappointing stay. The hotel environment was poor, and the actual condition was very different from what was presented online. There were homeless people sleeping in the hallway, the room door was damaged, and the chair in the room was extremely dirty and basically unusable. The room was also much smaller than expected. Cleanliness, maintenance, and security were all serious concerns. This property needs major improvements. I would not recommend staying here based on my experience.

I’ve stayed here several times and I enjoy it… It’s close to a lot of good restaurants… The beds are comfortable and it’s worth the money… It’s a great value and nobody bothers your stuff

No microwave or fridge

From the filthy check in office, to the urine scented stairwell, to the moldy shower & walls, towels with hair on them, an a/c unit that was filled with ash, trash (and an acorn) and didn’t work, to the dust and dirt all over the room, we had a hot, dirty, miserable night. Do. Not. Stay. Here!!! Avoid at all costs!! The health department needs to visit this place and shut them down. I’m going to try and upload photos. You’ve been warned!

Window wooden covers were broken, room smelled horrible, no outlets to charge and the two available were broken, stairs to room smelled like pee and looked scary. Elevator broken very noisy unable to actually rest

Never again, you get what you paid for.

Bathroom light didn't work. Mirror light flickered and then turned off. Didn't work no light for bathroom area or mirror area. AC took some time. Was a quick rest over night. Usual motel 6 activity.

Pros Staff was friendly Parking was only $10 Easy check-in Cons * elevator with unavailable * stairs smelled like urine * the room was dirty-, had black marks and scuffs all around * the people next to us partied until 3 AM We probably won’t be back.

Good location good budget friendly staff

I had a good experience staying at Motel 6. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient. Overall, my stay was comfortable, and I would stay here again. The only downside was having to pay an additional $10 per night for parking, which I wasn't expecting. Other than that, everything went well.

This location is excellent — walkable to Fisherman’s Wharf. The room had heavy cigarette smell which caused us allergic reactions. Was it worth the low price for one night? Not sure.

Rooms were clean sheets were clean, staff was friendly. In a place where most rooms are $400 and up this is a great choice for someone that prefers to spend money on attractions instead of the 10 hours you’ll be in the room sleeping and showering with very hot great pressure. Zero complaints.

This hotel has the worst conditions of any hotel around Fishermans wharf. poop on all stairs way, elevator is always “Not In Service “, toilet paper holder towels holder is all broken, door lock is broken, bad smell in the hallway.

The place was a perfect spot to stay so you could enjoy all the parts of San Francisco. My family and I were able to walk to the trolley and any transportation spot within San Francisco. The hotel itself was a little run down and the elevator wasn't working, but the room was clean and we could rest peacefully after touring San Francisco 😊 I would stay again ☺️

Not clean few soap not right and mold I can’t breathe smell not accept sorry motel6 you need more but breakfast nothing wow that not important it👎

Place smelled like pee they need to maintain and clean better. Latch in door was falling apart.
