Motel 6 San Francisco, CA - Fisherman's Wharf

The location Mould in the bathroom, no toiletries, it smelt. The stairwell smelt like urine.

The staff was great and friendly. You could smoke on the deck. The place was an absolute mess. I pulled back the blankets and the sheets were all stained and nasty so I just slept in my clothes on top of the bed. My girlfriend went to open up the windows and the shutters broke and almost fell on her and killed her. The mirror was broken in the bathroom. There was old dog food and garbage underneath everything. There were three bars of soap and no shampoo. Didn't pitch a fit just took it as it was hope they clean their act up.

I slept indoors The property was shameful. Elevator was out of order. Bathroom mirror was severely cracked. Broken shutters. Furnishings were shabby and outdated. Place needed painting, desperately. I especially didn't like being charged $200 a night for a room that I would expect to rent by the hour in the most notorious part of town. The worst Motel 6 location I've ever encountered.

Toilet paper holder broken, we informed the helpdesk but did not send someone to repair, no quilt cover on bed sheet, rusted shower door, the stair steps are too narrow and u safe; the way to stairs smells like old pee, the elevator is broken.

The location and room was good but from the pictures was expecting a mini fridge and microwave but the room had none

Over all it was ok, but the security lights made it very bright in the room, black out blinds would have helped .

Expedia should really and truly be completely ashamed that they even still AGREE to post this Motel 6 on their site and charge people for it. (Expedia...You obviously have no baseline exception to lodging options and think that active reviews absolve you of any accountability. Let me tell you- they do not.) Expedia- So you need to seriously consider your business value to consumers/travelers when it is so blatantly apparent that providers/owners do not value any feedback or care to take any action whatsoever to abhorrent overnight accommodations. The irony...I did not even have to take photos of my room... they already existed in the reviews from months back. I had the room with the broken bathroom mirror, the broken, cracked sink, the filthy air conditioning unit, the black molded "art" in the bathroom and the non-existent window view that was an egress with vines blocking sunlight and louver blinds that were broken. I prepaid three nights with you. You owe me the cost of the last night as I chose to do a red eye/ my evening sleeping in the Chicago O'Hare airport in an upright chair instead of enduring a third night in the accommodations you sold me without conscious. Your business ethics/ values and the accommodations were and are truly disgusting.

Very clean and nice rooms with big comfortable beds!

We arrived very tired after a long trip at 11 p.m. Our room was old and small with an uncomfortable bed. The window was almost impossible to close, and there was no hot water in the bathroom. We asked the receptionist about it, and he casually told us they would fix it tomorrow. I needed that hot water tonight! We called management and had already packed all our stuff, wanting to leave, but they would not give us a refund. My recommendation is to stay as far away from this hotel as possible.

The hotel had a very unpleasant smell. A very bad experience—lots of noise and people smoking marijuana.

I was still waiting for my $100 deposit that was not returned yet. Staff are unprofessional. It is filthy and feels unsafe.

For the money it was a great deal.
