Lovely place with tonnes of character. Loved the classical music and general feel of the place downstairs. Room was great, and staff were lovely and very accommodating. Shared bathroom, + a modern shower would have been nicer

It was wonderful to stay in this historic restored Victorian home. The breakfast was good, with housemade jams and biscuit and locally made yogurt. The staff were very responsive, and the room was lovely.

It is a very charming old world place. It made you think of the history of the house. The breakfast was very delicious. No close parking.

Loved the hot scone in the morning, the freshly made French toast and the avocado toast were excellent. Between 4-6pm there is wine and cheese in the parlour a lovely touch. And I was able to help myself to hot chocolate at night after my trip to Alcatraz. They heard I wanted to go on the cable car and gifted me a ticket. I was touched. It wd be good to have time to find out how to navigate the city. As a solo traveller I had no idea and with one person on breakfast explanations were rushed.

Our room was a little small for the size of our luggage and the bathroom fittings (particularly the shower) had some awkward quirks but overall it was a charming place not too far from the waterfront and downtown.

Amazing hidden B&B in a wonderful neighborhood in the middle of SF. Convenient to everywhere. The staff made our stay an unforgetable experience. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Authentic Victorian property in great location near Golden Gate Park. The service and staff were excellent. Breakfast was delicious.

This was my third time staying at the Chateau Tivoli and it never disappoints. As a single traveler, the staff are friendly and helpful. I like the location to Alamo Square and a quick ride to SF sites. The breakfast is excellent t.

The house is beautiful. Nothing, it is perfect!

The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel like honored guests in a private home. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the stately double parlor with wine and cheese, and the breakfast was both delicious and thoughtfully presented. Chateau Tivoli is a must-stay. We can’t wait to return!

The breakfast was excellent. The housing and its decor were exquisite. The location was perfect.

Charming and quaint. Couldn’t ask for more. It was a little unclear that our room will not have a private bathroom but it turned out to be alright.

Interesting, eclectic decor. Fantastic staff. Wonderful breakfast. Excellent WiFi. Nothing, however worth confirming that you have a private vs. shared bathroom.
