Nice property with friendly staff.
-
Air conditioner was kind of working, but not easily adjusted
-
Clean room. But the smell is terrible. No exhaust in the bathroom. Parking is limited. The bed is hard, not comfortable. The staff were very helpful.
-
The room overall was somewhat clean but the sheets and blankets had some old stains on them the wall paper was peeling and hanging in some areas of the room. There was plenty of electrical sockets and there was no lingering smells. The bathroom was very clean. The continental breakfast was very disappointing, the only things they offered was white toast and jam, cereal, instant oatmeal, lemonade and coffee and some prepackaged pastries.

I have stayed here a few times because it is clean and safe and the staff is nice. What annoys me is that the elevator has been out of service for over a year.
-
Great location, clean, large rooms. Soundproofing was excellent could not even hear the street. Almost forgot I was staying in downtown San Francisco. Great find
-
I didn’t like the limited parking space, when you’re late out at night, you can come back without a parking space & finding one is so inconvenient.
-
Great for solo travelers

I stayed there for the Dore street festival Hotel was very quiet. There's an enclosure around the property so doors to rooms and parking aren't accessible to just anyone walking down the street -- made it feel more secure. Room was fine. Air conditioner worked well. I'd stay there again.

Great location, helpful staff, and clean all around. Glad I made the choice give this hotel a gander.

Room was alright (get what you pay for) service was good, parking was okay i suggest parking your car and leaving it your whole stay or you will lose your spot, very limited parking, no bad reviews on the place I loved it👍

Was a bit worried reading the reviews however both hotel and car park were very secure and the area immediately around it not too bad. If you are heading to Union Square, I would turn right out of the hotel and left onto Folsom street, and then left on 4th street. We walked during the day and it was absolutely fine and got a taxi back if we were after sunset. The hotel was very clean and our room was quite big with good amenities. Breakfast was decent with cereal, toast, porridge and small pastries as well as coffee and oj. All in all, a fantastic place to stay. Cannot fault it.

Everything was horrible

I would not recommend staying here. The elevator is out of order, which isn’t a big deal for people without mobility issues, but it shows the state of the hotel. When we arrived, I first noticed the bad smell in the lobby, peeling wallpaper in our room, and spongy floor in our room (like the boards underneath a spot of carpet have rotted). Then, it became even more apparent that this staff does not take pride in their establishment or its management when I saw 2 big stains on the bedsheets near the head of the bed on both sides. We went to reception to request clean sheets, and he started saying that the sheets were clean- they just had stains. (You should throw them away if you can’t get stains out.) Ultimately, he did give us new sheets and we put the sheets on ourselves because it was after housekeeping had left for the night. There also seems to never be anyone at reception and the garage door to drive into the parking lot is not motion-sensored. Each time we left or got back, I had to get out of the car and ring in on the doorbell to get someone to open the garage door. The parking lot is meant for small cars and has maybe 15 spots total. We were told that if we couldn’t find a spot, we’d need to find public parking and pay ourselves. Listing that they have self-serve parking is somewhat misleading.

The rooms are clean and I like how there is parking included with your stay!

He beds are SO hard!!! As a side sleeper it hurt my shoulder. The rooms are very dated and the bathroom looked unwell crusty metal etc. you have to get buzzed into the property. It was just very odd. The elevator does not work.

Good for solo travelers

staff very helpful clean rooms

A no-frills hotel with stairs to your floor, but super convenient to the Bay Bridge and with free parking. They could use a towel and pillow refresh, but otherwise everything needed. Very clean, comfortable room.
