Room was nice enough and the staff was friendly. The fridge didn’t work and the bathroom tile was moldy

The property could definitely be maintained better but for price, its a no-frills spot in a good location. Also clean bedding which is the most important thing.

We came for Dore Alley and this hotel was in a perfect location for the price. The room was nice, big shower, awesome AC, small fridge. If you need parking make sure to tell them so they can reserve a spot for you otherwise if you show up to check in they may not have a parking space for you. We had to use one of the nearby parking lots for the first night. Parking is $30 a day at the hotel. I’d stay here again.

Great value and kind employees!

In addition, they hide that there is a parking fee deeper in their listing, hoping you won't see it. Then they charge an outrageous fee of $30 for garbage parking. I checked multiple times and set the filter to only see hotels that provide parking.

Hotel is nice but small. the parking is really limited, only about 10 spots so if you do not check in on time no guarantee you will find parking. we had the bunk bed room and the ground on the room was not level, made you a bit dizzy. the room itself was nice and it was a pretty far walk to oracle park, about 30 minutes.

The toilet was leaking a little bit. The parking was limited, but we made it. Thank you! Overall we would stay there again. Microwave, TV, fridge were useful. The floor was dirty though. I had to clean it with wipes before kids would be on the floor.

I had a nice stay! Was very happy to see a microwave in my room, which I don't think was listed in the amenities. So helpful. The staff were great and even helped me get my car out of the tight parking spot! Yes, the breakfast is tiny but there is a very popular coffee roaster right across the street. Their website didn't show food but it does have breakfast food and pastries. The rooms are small but that is how they are in San Francisco. The bed was very comfortable. I could not figure out the channel menu on the TV and chose not to ask for help. I am sure they would have helped but I just watched what I wanted on my laptop. A screen in the window would be nice as well. There is a net to keep the birds from flying down and into the window but I would have felt better with a screen. My only suggestion for guests is to put a handtowel down in the shower. It was SO slippery!! Overall, happy to recommend it!

While I can't say the description on the website lied, it did use smart language to manipulate the situation about this location. The place used very cheap materials to "upgrade" the place at some point, so everything is starting to show wear and tear. The shower floor was very slippery, and everything there is done on the cheap, from the "continental breakfast" to the paper-thin towels that felt like sandpaper. Parking is not guaranteed, and while in a garage area, the cars are packed in tight, and it was sketchy to get in and out. During our stay, there were signs posted letting us know that the fire alarm had not been working for weeks prior. The staff did not seem to pay attention to who was coming or going from the building, and keys were not required to enter the building or access the elevator, so safety didn't seem to be a concern for them in a rather interesting neighborhood. Also, there is no way that was a queen-sized bed that we had reserved. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay with no amenities and safety isn't a big concern, then this would be fine.

Great room and even better staff! Thank you to the awesome front desk for being so helpful at all hours!

Dangerous. Out of compliance with the fire department. Very loud elevator. Smelt weird. Broken floor boards. Phone was not working. Fire hazards.

We booked this location because of the self parking available on site. Be prepared to park somewhere else, the parking space was already full. So better call before booking if you are looking for this amenity to confirm spaces are still available. We had to park three blocks away.

The front desk staff was really nice and helpful. Parking is limited but it’s nice that they close the gate if you can park in there so your car is safer. The breakfast was decent with a couple of different options. The room was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. I loved the Amy Winehouse portraits above the bed. The bathroom was also clean. I believe our only “issue” was that it took quite a while for the shower water to get hot, but outside of that we had a wonderful stay. I would not recommend walking around the neighborhood at night though, but that’s pretty much everywhere in SF these days. All in all was a very nice stay.

Our family of 6 arrived after being on the road for 8 hours. Check in was fine, but the room was another story. There was old food in the refrigerator, in the back there was a window fully open (no screen and shade had been pulled down), fresh stains on the couch, stained bed sheets, and bathroom had been used (dirty) with a sketchy red phone right next to the toilet. We ended up leaving, had to go stay somewhere else. Still waiting to hear from management.

As far as the room... Bathroom was decent and sanitary. At first I thought there wasn't any towels but there were... the AC definitely worked. At times it was really loud... The room felt small because of the table and small kitchen which we didn't really use... The bed was soft but I constantly woke up at night. The pillows were the super stiff fluffy ones that bend your neck. As far as the amenities... we didn't drive a car so we didn't take advantage of the parking (but I could see how that would be valuable)... The free breakfast was super basic, nothing special. I've stayed at Yotel right down the road and found that to be a better value - better breakfast, better location (closer to the train station), better room overall (more spacious and better bed) - all around the same price point.

There were needle caps in the hall way on the first floor coming into the hotel from the parking garage the first night we stayed there was screaming coming from the hallway from someone’s room when we left we complained to the front desk when we returned there was what appeared to be a party in room 217 with about 6 to 8 people we complained to the front desk they did nothing the party continued till around 3:30 4am when we woke up we complained again about the noise the night before the breakfast was very small the rooms where still very wet and smell like mildew the stay was horrible even tho we did not stay at the hotel most of the time the time we did stay there was very unpleasant
