The hotel was gorgeous and very well maintained! The room was very nice and had everything that we needed. The staff were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. They helped to make our family vacation even better. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back!!!

Wonderful staff, great location, beautiful room, comfortable bed, convenient fitness / snack rooms. -

The reception is manned 24/7 and the staff were always very helpful. The games room is a nice touch and the entrance hall area very impressive. Booked for three male adults, the rooms and beds were not really adequate. The double bed was small, and the sofa bed not very comfortable. The property is fairly central but close to 'the tenderloin' which is not an area to walk around alone at night.

The room size is good and the furnishings are new This was a nightmare stay and further excerbated by the total lack of empathy by both Booking.com and the Hotel. On day to we ventured 2 lanes to the left of the hotel ( rated 9+ on location ) to geary street only to realise this is the hub of homeless + addicts. One of addicts chased us ( me + wife and a 3 yo in a pram ) which totally scared the life out of us. We rushed to the hotel explained our experience and decided that we no longer want to stay in that area for the reason that we clearly felt unsafe in that homeless addict infested area. This is where our ordeal began. Being a genius member I raised a request on booking.com and at the same time informed the front desk + Also dropped a message on Booking.com. Booking.com got back after 4 hours of what was clearly marked as an urgent request, saying that they had further raised this request to the hotel. Now I was supposed to wait for 48 hours before I could get a response. This request was clearly raised as an urgent request, citing safety reasons. The SOP Booking.com has is that, while you are staying in a hotel where you feel threatened or have safety issues, the response time is 48 hours. This totally boggled my mind. Over the next 48 hours, the hotel completely chose to be silent on this request, clearly on booking.com. We went to the front desk at least 2-3 times, and every time the person sitting there said that they were not the right point of contact to take this decision, and we should come at a later time. Finally, after giving a person on the desk a piece of our mind and asking for a decision, they clearly said that under no condition would they be able to process a refund for leaving early. We had to stay there five nights, or we were free to check out early and forego our amount. While I understand that the hotel can do this, what shocked me was how Booking.

Great renovated suites, we were amazed by how much they updated the rooms and it was way nicer than the photos

Be ready to be asked to sit through a timeshare presentation.

Great stay! The staff was very accommodating, the concierge was super helpful and our room was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent- walkable to Union Square and Downtown and a short drive to San Francisco attractions like Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf, etc. Would definitely stay again!

Staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel lobby and ambience are excellent and location too is good. They dont clean the room daily - however this is not a big issue as when you ask towels and amenities are replenished immediately.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean rooms. Great location. Would definitely go back

The room was very comfortable, and very quiet! The staff was very attentive, always.

This is a well-located property close to about everything in walking distance. The staff were pleasant and the amenities decent. I used the gym, which was very nice and well-maintained. I very much enjoyed the size of the room, which was huge, like an apartment. However, my room smelled funny, like musty food. It's nice to have a fridge, microwave, and essentially a small kitchen. There is some slight pressure from the staff to learn about membership. I would stay here again, but I do not see a reason to be a member.

This is our second stay & there is always great service & terrific rooms. Great size with everything needed & would stay there again any time. Nothing.

Comfortable and spacious suite
-
Room was very good. Only problem is the toilet is very low and somewhat difficult for a senior to get up/down. They need grab bars for the toilet and in the shower.
-
Location was quite central High pressure to attend time share scheme talks when checking in. They were ringing our room early to attend.
-
The gym was good but could had a bit more variety The main issue is that it wasn’t actually a functioning kitchen. That was the main reason I booked it with a kitchenette as a suite.
-
The staff were all amazing. Everytime we entered the hotel they greeted us. We did attend a time share presentation because this is like a hotel time share property. The sales professionals were not pushy at all and we even received a small gift for out time. The room was nice and spacious with a separate bedroom from the living room/kitchen. There were two TVs in the studio which had streaming capabilities. The location....while it is conveniently located to public transit and many restaurants, it is adjacent to the Tenderloin. So some of the things we witnessed was people injecting drugs feet from the hotel, walking past a pile of human excrement, a homeless lady stole a car and was apprehended by law enforcement. Apparently, they had to put a spit/bite guard over her head because she was that aggressive! This was also just feet away from the hotel. There was a bus stop outside the hotel where drunk and doped up people would dwell. Hotel was secured and locked at all times, either someone would be there to let guest in or they could use the room key. Even with all of this, I would still stay at the hotel again.

The suite I rented was large and provided room to relax.

The staff were very helpful and very kind. They didn’t clean your room daily. And they didn’t explain to you that in order to pick up your garbage you have to let it outside your room. So we had to ask for it on the lobby, and they sent a person to pick up the garbage, they were very nice and quickly.

The room and hotel was very nice!
