Clean room, slept well

Confortable room
-
Rooms at the front noisy due to ill fitting windows. Very small rooms if you have more than 2 suitcases with you. Beds were very comfy and good bedding.

This hotel was in a good location. The room was tiny but cozy and clean.

Great front desk workers, clean rooms

That said, the property does feel a bit older than it appears in the photos. It also doesn’t have air conditioning, so it can get quite warm or humid depending on the weather. The rooms and common areas are on the smaller side as well. Overall, considering the price, I think it’s a good value and a decent place to stay if you’re looking for an affordable option.

This hotel was quite dated but did the job. The pictures do look better than in person. Was uncomfortable having to pay a $150 deposit but got it back within a few days after we left. Continental breakfast is pretty poor and the pictures are not what you get at all. You get toast, some basic cereal and a couple of pieces of sad looking fruit. The area is convenient to union square but close to some sketchy feeling areas.

It was a nice quaint place in a great location to walk anywhere for the tourist attractions. Rooms and beds were all comfortable. Definitely stay there again.

Even though it's an older hotel, it is perfect for travel. The beds were comfortable, rooms clean and staff was friendly. We stay Everytime we come to San Francisco

The staff was friendly, but there was no air conditioning so even though I paid, ultimately I didn't stay here bc the rooms were too warm.

The breakfast left a lot to be desired. It was all carbs. Not even a hard boiled egg.

The breakfast is quite simple, there were only industrialized loaf bread. Carpet in my room was not clean. You can hear all people talking in nearby rooms. My room had a window broken that wouldn't close and give to the emergency stairs (people of other floors could easily reach my room). I ask three times if they could correct this but they just ignored me. Bathroom sink was in pieces and patched together with acrylic double-sided tape. Elevator is archaic and you have to be cautious to not get a finger or arm caught. The location have a lot of houseless people and some chemical dependent in the streets.

There is no AC and breakfast was disappointing
-
Good service Dangerous street. Do not walk at night. Breakfast with no protein. Old elevator.
-
good location. room and bathroom are clean and nice, although the room was a bit small but acceptable. the room has a mini fridge and coffee maker , basically all you need.
-
The bad: unfriendly staff….especially the woman , the man was more helpful and courteous. The elevator did not work 95% of the time. The room was fine but very noisy as we could hear sirens and trucks and people yelling outside most of the night. Hate to say but we would not stay here again. Breakfast was ok- downstairs in the basement and consisted of coffee/tea, toast, cereal, fruit and oatmeal packs. Kinda sad and dingy down there. We ate quickly and left for better coffee at a nearby coffeehouse.
-
Great breakfast for the money. My petite room was just right for me. Location was convenient. The elevator was a bit cumbersome to operate, with the old fashioned gate, especiallyif your hands were full.

I love this city
-
Room was very small, air conditioning barely worked, headboard was painted on the wall, bed was uncomfortable, sheets were scratchy, no body lotion provided
