Mayflower Hotel

What a gem of a hotel to enjoy. Great location adjacent to Union Square and transportation lines. Hotel has great charm and maintains its old world charm. Rooms are very tastefully appointed, each room with its own style. I was in the Heart suite, complete with a beautiful mural of a vibrant heart done in oils. Bed very comfortable and all appointments in very good condition. Great shower too! I HIGHLY recommend this gem!!

Beautiful old hotel. Great location and staff. Great breakfast. Can be noisy if room close to street and creaky floors.

Front desk staff were helpful in answering all of our questions. The market next door was very convenient. No air conditioner, but really wasn't needed as we opened the windows and used the ceiling fan. Old historic charm within walking distance to restaurants, and shopping. About 2 blocks from the cable car stop.and Union Square. Expect to see a few homeless people nearby.

The staff was exceptional, very helpful and always smiling. Nothing to complain about, would highly recommend and will definitely use this Hotel again!

Exceptional

We arrived to the hotel early and was very happy to find that our rooms were all ready for us. We had 2 queen deluxe rooms that were clean and had very large closets to fit all our luggage and belongings. Despite our rooms being right by the elevators, we didn't hear them. The traffic noise during the day was normal for being in a busy city but at night it was actually pretty quiet. The biggest disappointment was the lack of amenities for our deluxe rooms. We had a mini fridge, microwave and place setting for 2. There was no dish soap, dish rag or towel though. When we asked the front desk for that they said they don't have any and to just use the bar soap that is in the bathroom. Due to food restrictions 3/4 of my family can't eat the provided hotel breakfast so using the "kitchen" in our room was essential. We ended up buying our own supplies to wash the dishes in our room.

Great hotel. Clean spacious. Very good area. Good air flow. I had two big windows in my room. Lots of drawers for your clothes. Huge walk in closet. Sink. In the kitchen) fridge and microwave. Plates. Cups. Will be back. Oh and a very nice market next door

My family and I had a great stay!!! The staff were so welcoming and helpful - and the location was perfect to be in a quieter area but still central. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable place for a great price!!

Location is great, quiet and safe neighborhood, room was comfortable, lots of room, even had a walk in closet. breakfast is a plus! there is a fridge in the room but it is tiny and didn't keep things too cold.

The staff were great! Very clean and very comfy room. The elevator was a bit difficult to handle but it was okay.
