Columbus Motor Inn

Room was clean. Great location to see Lombard, Wharf, Coit Tower...Parking included which was priceless. Very friendly front desk staff.

This hotel was clean but old fashioned. The room we had was large. It included parking which was very useful. This was our second visit to San Francisco and was ideal based for us.

Great room, very helpful staff. Free parking was a real bonus. Minor issue, no breakfast but plenty of restaurants nearby

Comfy beds and great location. Short walk to buses and cable cars.

The gentleman that was working was amazing. He was just a joy to talk with.

We chose this hotel as it had great reviews and offered free parking. Although a little dated the hotel was great. A 10 minute walk to Pier 39 and close to the Cable Car stops etc. Our room was a little noisy as it overlooked the rear of "Bimbos" so we had to keep the window shut but we had aircon which we needed.

Tony was really help ful! They have ample parking and their location was really good!

The room was practical, but furniture looked like original 50 year old dark furniture... not uplifting. I'd suggest to owners make some low cost, lighter brighter upgrades. There was construction noise on the roof, right above my top floor ceiling. These things happen, BUT when i told the the morning lady at reception at 9am the noise is really bad, she replied.... "it is scheduled maintenance, and we have to run a business". so basically tough luck, no true care... So bad she didn't realise what she was saying... Apologised later, after i said i'd leave a 2 star review, but she didn't mean it. The owners may want to move her to a non customer facing role.

The location is great the staff is friendly and upgraded the room to a suite which was very suitable for us. The mattress are not good

I have stayed at the Columbus motor in several times. It’s all about the location and the location is excellent. This time the room, however, had mould in the bathroom on the ceiling and the shade of the lamp was stained. It’s a basic motel with a wonderful location.

Staff was very nice. Large clean room. Free parking is a real plus. Easy walk to Fisherman’s Wharf and North Beach.

Our stay at Columbus Motor Inn was excellent. We loved everything about this hotel, especially the friendly and helpful staff, the outstanding location, and the convenient parking — something that is truly valuable in San Francisco.

Antonio and Leyda are extraordinary; friendly, extremely helpful, humorous. They really made our visit splendid. The only thing we disliked was how dark our room was.

Excellent location with excellent staff. The parking is a big bonus!! The deadbolt in room 302 does not line up with the receiver and therefore does not function properly.

The staff was super friendly, housekeeping did a great job every day. Location is fabulous and the offstreet parking is a huge plus. Wish we had had at least a small refrigerator in the room. Microwave would’ve been nice also.
