Europa Hotel

It gave you a hostel vibe. Was not happy with it no ac the room was hot and stuffy, had a dirty chair in room with mysterious stains.

Very well located near everything in North Beach. No AC, so the room got stuffy and impossible to let the breeze in. The rooms we got were facing Columbus Ave are too noisy because on Fridays and Saturdays people get drunk and start fighting so you can't sleep.

It was very clean and well maintained. We booked a room with shared bathroom and both the female and male bathroom were extremely clean. Location is great, you are close to all tourist attractions and busses pass in front of the hotel all the time. Very active nightlife around the hotel. I'll definitely recommend it for budget travel and small stays The sheets were torn up and had a couple of old stains - but they were freshly washed and we could still sleep in them, it wasn't a problem. There's a lot of stairs so it was hard to get our suitcases up and down. Windows open only very slightly so the room wasn't staying fresh.

The only good thing about the hotel was its location. There was no lift so you have to stairs. The room was very small and there was only bed with a very small metal high side table kind of thing. There was no chair. The bathroom was very small but at least clean. Bed linen will also clean. They don’t clean or make the room every day you have to request them a day earlier for room cleaning. The only staff I interacted her name was Daisy. She was very helpful and very supportive. Considering the money I paid per night for the hotel, it was absolutely not value for money.

The property is stull under renovation (not communicated prior to arrival) , the room was not clean. Simple tea and coffee was not provided, no hand towels, the shower was filthy a pon arrival. The only redeeming feature about this property is the location.

One of the rooms had some mold in the corner of the shower. No Air Conditioning (doesn't claim to have any, I understand, but just wanted to mention it in case someone didn't notice it) and the windows don't have screens, so you can't really take advantage of the cool evening air without risking bugs in your room. In one of the rooms, the TV didn't work (not connected to anything) but did have an HDMI cable, so I could plug my computer in. Not the worst place, but not great.

Great position in the middle of bars, restaurants and live music. You get what you pay for at this hotel 😀

Excellent location close to Chinatown, the Piers, great restaurants nearby. If you have a car, parking it could be a problem.

it was a very nice hostel fopt the price. Clean and good wifi which really helped with work meetings not much

I paid through Expedia. When I arrived the property charged me again and refused to refund me .I have yet to recieve a refund from the Europa .Very disappointing.

If you want to be in the action, it’s a great location. Not spotless by any means. Keep in mind you will be paying to park around the place.
