Pacific Motor Inn is a fabulous hotel in a great location for the price. Staff is very friendly and you’re in the heart of North beach Chinatown and very close to Fishermans wharf. Not a dull moment in those neighborhoods so much fun great food great bars I love San Francisco.

It's so outdated, but it is clean and the staff is lovely. You have FREE Parking in SF!! You are steps from China Town, a few minutes from little italy and maybe a 20 minute walk to the the wharf. We were really happy since all we needed was a place to lay our heads after a long day on the town.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The neighborhood is safe and walkable to do many great bars, restaurants and attractions. We've stayed here dozens of times and are never disappointed. Free parking too, which is amazing in SF

Great location. fun vibe. great to have parking. very uncomfortable sofa bed; probably from 1963. a guy was amplifying his encouragement of Jesus outside until 2am. I should have called the police on him, or maybe the hotel should have. that was annoying. nice place though!

The bed covers had obviously not been changed in awhile; unfortunately, we found human and possible animal hair on the bed. My wife developed a rash since yesterday, when we stayed there. We ended out checking out early.

The staff members were friendly, and without asking them, they offered an early check-in. In general, buildings in San Francisco are old, and they need renovations, but they want to keep the old vibe.

On the border of China Town and Little Italy. Great dining!

The beds were very old and uncomfortable. We could feel the springs in all the beds. We were grateful for the fan in the closet. Parking was really tight but we managed. Overall it was a place to lay our heads and shower.

Just a pretty basic place. Not very nice. Pretty old. It’s a bargain deal just be ready for a place to sleep and that’s it.

Excellent location! Very clean property/rooms, comfortable beds. My husband and I are repeat guests here. The traffic is loud throughout the night. We run the fan stored in the closet and it covers the traffic noise pretty well .

Poor customer service

parking should be designated as first come first serve (for in and out parking) Lot filled up and they started having cars park behind other cars trapping them after the lot attendants left duty.

Location, location, location! Great location. One unfortunate thing that happened was two guests having a loud argument, but the issue was promptly addressed by hotel staff, and resolved quickly. I actually live in San Francisco, but was doing a “staycation.” For a weekend. Would definitely stay again.

Check-in process was smooth. We had an issue with the toilet and even though it was late maintenance came and fixed it fairly quickly. Great location to a ton of eateries!
