Place is a little worn down, but clean. Always a great stay in San Francisco. Staff is very helpful. Parking is included, and Chinatown and North Beach are next door. Lots of places to eat and see nearby.

We had a really good time! The vibes around the area were badass and felt like we were in nyc! We had a great weekend staying

The location is fantastic! Literally on the border of Chinatown and North Beach (Little Italy) which made walking the city easy. We actually walked to the Buena Vista Cafe, Fishermans Wharf and lower Nob Hill (we went to a bar called Peacekeeper and it is absolutely awesome) during our stay. Oh, and the China Live Market across the street has epic Chinese food, don't miss it. If you can handle San Francisco's hills the walks are awesome and full of scenic photo opportunities! And the fact that you can park one car per room free is an astonishing bargain considering what parking costs around any major city these days. Fantastic! The rooms are very basic and not a lot of frills, but very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again! Communication on parking an extra vehicle broke down somewhat, but it wasn't Royal Pacific's fault so much as the gentlemen doing the downstairs parking not understanding the situation. It worked out fine, however.

I liked everything! The location was perfect. The Motor Inn is right on the edge of China town with its wonderful restaurants and we could also walk to the Wharf. The room was spacious and quiet. Parking was also exceptional. We were greeted by a very friendly parking attendant. To have a safe place to park the car is very important in San Francisco. Nothing comes to mind. The furniture is dated, but that was not important to us.

The staff and location are great but when I got in the room it smelled of mold. For this reason I cannot recommend it and will not be going back. I think the entire building needs to be checked for mold inside the walls.

Very near Chinatown and Ferry/wharf area, walkable parking provided A bit dated, but comfortable. Some nearby areas a bit seedy.

The room was very clean, toiletries and coffee were appreciated. No breakfast provided. Location close to Chinatown and Fisherman's Wharf was great. The price was similar to the rest of the San Francisco hotels but twice what we normally would pay. We only stayed 5 nights due to the cost.
