Grant Plaza Hotel

Great location. I didn’t need anything fancy. They offer a decent room for an affordable price. The beds are very firm. Still slept good. There’s no ac unit but that’s a testament to the weather in SF. My only issue is that I could hear creaking from upstairs. You will probably be doing the same to your downstairs neighbor. And the walls were thin so I could hear neighbor snoring.

They go out of their way to offer great local dining recommendations and cover front desk essentials like complimentary morning coffee, extra toiletries, and irons on request. * Shops & Dining Nearby: Excellent location for exploring on foot. Steps away from Chinatown’s incredible dim sum and bakeries, 3 blocks from Union Square shopping, and just a short walk to Financial District cafes and restaurants. * Business-Friendly: Free, reliable Wi-Fi throughout the property makes it easy to handle work and remote tasks. It is also within walking distance to the Financial District and a 10–13 minute walk to the Moscone Center and transit hubs like BART/MUNI. Overall, an ideal home base if you want an affordable, clean stay in a prime walk-to-everything neighborhood.

The rooms are smaller than the pictures, and had decent amounts of dust on the headboards.

Good Location

No microway or refrigerator and as many hotels there is no parking.

I like the area good spot

The hotel is in a very old building, which I believe creates an odd odor. The windows are very inefficient especially in regard to noise control. The curtains in the bathroom were very dirty. The shower was newer and very clean. Great hot water and good water pressure. I misunderstood the double room description- it only had a full size bed. The mattress was noisy and horrible. The staff was amazing! Parking for drop off was great. Location was descent. However, many restaurants in the area, especially breakfast were not open on the weekends. Overall, decent room for price for the city.

OK for the price.

Decent location for my event. Generally pleasant staff. The room was dirty. Dirty in the sense that there was old dust on the walls, not just on top of frames and hanging items. The flat surfaces were clean enough. The bed was extremely hard. Felt like sleeping on a piece of plywood with a comforter on top.

The place is noisy we slept with the window open.
