Location. Badly needs an update, old furniture, worn carpet.

Respectful staff, understanding, hotel rooms were clean and didn’t have any issues nor inconveniences. Great hotel recommend it to others.

I had booked the hotel because I was working in the city on two consecutive days and simply needed a clean, comfortable place to get a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately, I found the room so uncomfortable that I could not stay there for more than a few minutes. I immediately raised the issue with the hotel, but they were unable to offer me a suitable alternative room or other solution. I ultimately had to leave the property late at night and take an Uber elsewhere so that I would have somewhere to sleep. I would strongly recommend that prospective guests look beyond the listing photos when considering this property. My experience of the room was materially different from the impression created by the photos.

The lobby, as well as the room was very clean. Front desk staff was professional and helpful. Good, central location. Would definitely recommend.

Location facilities and standard were ideal for our requirements No complaints

It's a room with a bed and bathroom in a convenient location. Could of been cleaned better but it's really old. Had to go across the street everyday to buy waters or snacks. Parking in the garage was close about $46 per day. Check in was easy, staff was available at the desk when towels were needed. Housekeeping was offered if requested before 9am, but prefer to keep things clean myself.

The staff were very helpful and polite. The room was pretty basic but that was ok for this trip. I didn’t like that the shower wasn’t clean and looks like it could use a deep clean to remove the limestone build up on the tiles. That 15inch monitor they have in the room saying it’s a TV is the craziest thing I seen in a while.

Hotel is very basic. Rooms are small, but thats old San Francisco for you. If you are use to something super classy, you are going to be disappointed. Our room was fine, our bedding had some stains and the bathroom linens were very poor quality, but it did the job. We spent very little time in the room. The location is great. This is literally on the corner of the Dragon Gate. Walking distance to virtually everything. If you plan on doing bus tours, you are right by Union Square where they start/stop. Lots of shopping and dining options around the hotel. Pier 39 and Oracle Park are a 35 min walk from the hotel through beautiful areas and points of interest.

Great location

Only location is fine. The rest is bad and even the location is very load in night time so you cant open the window if you want to get some air Staff is un attentive, room is not clean with carpet that is full of dust and was hard to breath. No water pressure in the shower, my room never been cleaned after each night. I lost my pants and asked if they saw it and now one look it up

Location is prime next to China town. No AC in the room, the ceiling fan works with the light always on and there is no way to keep the light off without turning the fan off. Elevator needs an inspection soon, it felt like it was hanging from a thread. I call the number on file and the one on Google and it took at least 25+ calls to get to someone from the front desk. Expedia advised that check in time is 4p-11p when its actually till 2am. We just needed a place to crash but overall not the best experience. It was a last minute booking so it was kind of expected but dropped the bar significantly

Excellent location. China town is a few mins away. Room are clean and members of staff are welcoming. Good place if you want to spend a couple of days in the city.

This hotel is in terrible condition; it is very old, but that isn't the worst part—it is dirty and smells bad. The elevator shakes violently, and the interior is in a dreadful state. The owner really needs to renovate; renting out the hotel in this condition shows a lack of respect for guests. I am attaching photos from my room: the windows don't close properly, and although there was a TV, it was impossible to turn on because the remote didn't work. The heating system in the room was a disaster. Owner, you simply cannot host guests in such terrible conditions with such awful facilities.

Horrible place. Dated and dirty. I do not recommend.

I stayed here for a business conference and since I booked late I didn’t have much choice in hotels. The location is good and it was clean. But it’s very old and not in a charming way.

Clean room nice staff parking plenty to do near back

The building itself needs a renovation, the doors in the bathroom wouldn’t close unless you slammed them, windows had to be slammed shut and were nearly impossible to get reopen, and lastly probably the worst one is the elevator the things is so rickety and shakes the whole way up and down. When I was on that elevator it shook opened and closed the doors then wouldn’t move from the floor, that honestly needs to be fixed before it results in a lawsuit. The room is also nothing as advertised all photos you see of the bathrooms and rooms are definitely not what you get when you show up. The location of the place is amazing and the staff are amazing that is about all I can say nicely about this hotel.

The location was awesome and the attendant was amazing. Our beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The hotel did not have a/c and the elevator constantly felt like it was going to break every time we used it.
