Orchard Garden Hotel

The Orchard Garden Hotel is the best place to stay in, beautiful decor, sculptures, waterfalls are amazing and incredible. Love it

This was one of the cleanest and quietest hotels I’ve stayed in. Our room did not have a view but we rarely heard street noise or other guests and were able to sleep well. We didn’t use the restaurant or cardio room but did visit the rooftop terrace, which was nice, if a bit windy. A one block walk east, south or west gets you to a bus stop so it’s easy to get around. The hotel is just steps away from the Chinatown Dragon Gate. Lyft and Waymo stop right outside the front door. Art & Ahmed at the front desk were friendly and suggested some local restaurants. The only negatives were minor. One of our room keys had to be replaced three times, the room safe had a very touchy keypad and we weren’t able to cast from our mobile devices to the TV. The room did not have a microwave but there was one available downstairs. Overall a very positive experience.

I liked that they have water station with very good filtered water for guests to use. The only thing I would comment about is the room was listed to have 1 king size bed, but the bed is not king (66-68 inches in width), so if the listing could be updated or clarified, that would provide better experience and expectations.

For an older hotel, it was a lot quieter than I expected. A couple of nights there was some really weird loud banging on the 8th floor that lasted a couple of minutes, otherwise was really quiet. There was zero street noise, and just occasional hallway door slamming and such. We missed the room turnover a couple of times due to leaving after 10 am, but was easy enough to request what we needed from the desk, or the cleaning staff still on the floor. Restaurant was quite expensive for what it was so we ate out every meal, including morning coffees. There are lots of close options so wasn't a bother. If there was access to a pool in the sister hotel no one mentioned that to us.

Clean, quiet, well-maintained boutique hotel in excellent location. Comfortable beds with soft bedding. Spacious rooms and a nice rooftop terrace available to guests. Would definitely stay here again. Only drawback was the limited number of outlet receptacles in the hotel room. Otherwise, everything was fantastic!

Our double room with street view and the bathroom were good sized for SF hotels. Everything was clean. The bed was a little hard for me.

Comfortable quiet room; big bathroom. Nice staff. Super location. Great value! I lost an envelope of money (found elsewhere) but when I called they went and checked the room for me. I didn't eat breakfast there, so not sure about food but think it is a little gem. I was by myself but friends came to meet me and little small to visit, but the outdoor patio was nice. Thank you!

A very clean and cosmopolitan hotel. Wonderful staff, spacious room with excellent bed and bedding. The location is ideal for exploring SF. Highly recommended. We shall be back.

Staff are courteous and polite, and the kitchen staff in particular were helpful. Interiors felt slightly dated, but could just be our experience coming from Europe.
