Orchard Garden Hotel

Loved staying here! The staff were so friendly and the room was beautiful. Windows were sufficient to keep out city noise and we slept soundly.

Almost smack right beside the iconic Dragon Gate of Chinatown San Francisco, this location is fantastic and close to many main attractions of SF city. The staff from reception to housekeeping were warm and helpful and they just felt like family I can chat up with anytime. I was having a slight noise issue at night with my initial room at the top floor probably due to the rooftop machinery and requested for a room change and it was promptly seen to! I chose this hotel at first because it was a Singaporean brand. But the sense of peace and safety I experienced throughout my stay made me realize that it was something more divine than just supporting a hometown brand ️ Honestly. Nothing. But if I really had to be picky, it was the slight noise issue from the rooftop machinery(which I think can be resolved with some engineering/firewall/soundproofing) and that the facilities were a little dated. But hey, no hotel is perfect and Orchard garden has proven that with a solid hospitality team running the show, none of these small issues will matter!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Great location, great staff, quiet and comfortable room, nice rooftop area. We will be back on future trips to San Francisco.

The breakfast was also delicious! I had the eggs Benedict with potatoes and coffee, and everything was really good. The only thing I think could have been better was our check-in experience. The person who checked us in didn't really give us any information about the hotel or explain where things like the rooftop, gym, restaurant, or breakfast area were located. We were basically given our keys after checking in and had to figure everything out ourselves. A quick overview of the hotel and its amenities would have made the arrival experience much more welcoming. Later that evening, however, another young lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful, which we really appreciated. Other than the check-in experience, we had a wonderful stay. The hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and breakfast was great. We would definitely stay here again! No parking at the hotel ,but there was a 24 hour parking garage where we left our car all night and 3 min away from our hotel so it was convenient.

Place was clean and nice. However, check out is at 12pm and I get the cleaning staff want to get through rooms as fast as possible for incoming guests, but I was awakened by vacuum and dish sounds which for someone who was trying to have a relaxing, sleeping in night, was not enjoyable. They also knocked on my door at 9am to try to get in early.

This was the cleanest property I have stated in quite some time. It was beautifully appointed. It was our honeymoon and they had a plate of fruit waiting for us. It was a good location for us. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was so fresh and clean! Staff was helpful. I will say that there was no parking which I was unaware of but the front desk greeter stepped out the front door to show me that parking was just a block and a half up, which was fine. It would have been more convenient had it been right there on property but it was fine. I felt very safe in this area.

The location is Perfect, at a nexus of BART and MUNI lines; Short stroll to the Embarcadero and the new F trolley line to the Wharf; Exactly.at.the entrance to Grant Street and Chinatown, and further on to the Old Italian North Beach; Close by to the Union Square luxury shops; But --- Best of All: One block away from Sam's Grill Three and 1/2 blocks from the Tadich Grill. Each room would benefit by a Microwave oven and upgraded, modern room safe.

Love the location. Cafe de la Presse across the street was great meeting place.

This hotel is at a good location with easy access to the BART train at Powell from the airport, and buses on Kearny and Cable cars on Powell to get to the wharf areas. Large room and good bed/matress

It was clean and well serviced. Staff were helpful,polite and pleasant.Well located between Union Square and Chinatown. Nothing to moan about.

The location was conveniently and centrally located for our purposes. Nice and quiet. Room was clean.
