The location of the hotel is very convenient, just one street away from Fisherman’s Wharf. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious enough, with everything you need, including a small refrigerator. There is also a supermarket nearby and a place where you can have breakfast very early, which was very convenient for me. It was also very convenient that I could leave my luggage at the hotel free of charge before check-in. If the room is ready earlier, early check-in is available for an additional fee of 30 USD. The sound insulation was generally OK, although I could clearly hear footsteps from the room above. Fortunately, this did not bother me during my stay.

I reserved the balcony room. They did not give me a balcony room. They told me there was an upgrade. It was not an upgrade not a good experience.

I enjoyed my stay and don’t have major complaints. Great location. The blinking of the lamps gets a bit annoying (I remember another room had the same issue when we stayed there last year). Honestly I would have left a 5 star review but I got annoyed with the seemingly mandatory request to select check out time which ended up being just a funnel to leaving a Google Maps review. There is absolutely no reason for me to have to select the exact time I leave the hotel. I never saw that practice anywhere else in the world.

Toilet too close to tub/not enough room Found it difficult to get to pier in front if the restaurant was closed Went down the hallway to use the side exit and someone defecated out in front of the door. Staff was just hosing it out into the street gutter

The receptionist was very friendly, helpful, and understanding of my situation. She was honestly the only positive part of my experience at this hotel. Unfortunately, this was the worst hotel room I have ever seen. The AC seemed to be about 30 years old, the window couldn’t be opened, and combined with the old carpeted floor, the room felt impossible for me to stay in. As a result, I didn’t even stay the night, although I still had to pay for it.
