The way we were treated because we didn’t speak English well was especially disappointing and made us feel very uncomfortable. Customer service should be respectful and welcoming to everyone. Between the $75 nightly parking fee and the poor customer service, I definitely would not stay here again. Never coming back.

Wonderful hotel, staff very helpfully. Amazing outdoor space for socialising and perfect location for all piers and trams.

The location for this hotel was great for walking to the many tourist attractions in the area and also for the views of the bay. The rooms were a nice fun change from your typical mundane hotels. Ours included a connecting map of San Francisco and the vicinity on the walls and ceiling. In addition there was a magnetic dart on the wall which was fun to play with after a long day. The smores kit that you can use during your stay at one of ths fire pits was cute and fun. My only negative is the hotel is showing some obvious wear & tear that has reached the point where it's time to fix or replace because it's a slight eyesore. Also, paying $65 a day for parking per car plus the resort fees was expensive so keep that in mind when you book this hotel.

Close to the wharf!! The play area was awesome!!

Before checking in, I had to use the bathroom. They were all locked! I had to ask for a key card before entering!

Great location, walking distance to everything. Felt a bit of a backpacker type of hotel. Very thin walls. But it was clean and the beds were comfy.

Perfect location , rooms were cleaned all the time and staff was amazing

The room itself was quite nice and clean but the hallways in the hotel were endless and confusing and the different elevators were not well marked or explained. We kept getting lost in this enormous hotel. The hotel had a super casual city vibe and s’mores were offered upon arrival. The hotel employees did not seem super professional but were friendly enough. The location of the hotel was great for sightseeing. The air conditioning in the room didn’t work at all. Overall, not my favorite hotel but a decent choice.

A very nice stay in a convenient location. The daily cleaning service was appreciated. There was a nice outside area for games and a bonfire. This would be a nice place for a family or a group with kids.

This place is amazing for families and kids. A great atmosphere and location. The games and courtyard were amazing and the evenings with the fire pits and s'mores made for a fun social time with the other hotel patrons. Clean rooms and very accommodating and knowledgable staff. Our room looked directly into the parking lot, like directly. For the price, this was kind of a bummer.

We’ve stayed here a number of times and generally love this Hotel Zephyr. It’s a really fun and unique hotel that is great for families. My kids love it. My complaints this time are if we weren’t out of the hotel room before noon, we would not get cleaning service. I ended up having to take our trash downstairs to the bin myself. It’s not a deal breaker but we felt the reduced service from this department during this stay. My bedding had red stains on the sheets. Not blood red, more like punch red. I also found a dirty knife stuck between the mattress and the headboard. There was also a faint mildew smell. We had to leave the slider open during the entire stay to combat the odor. Finally, the room needed some light work. Some molding could use replacement, new caulking in places. Fresh paint, light wall repairs and an overall deep clean was necessary. Otherwise the staff was wonderful as usual and we would stay here again with the hope that we could give a higher rating with improved cleanliness.

Fantastic!

The room had a few disappointing issues. The air conditioner was quite old and pointed directly at the bed, with no way to adjust the direction, which made it uncomfortable at night. The bathroom was also very small, and our room was located a long way from the elevator, making it inconvenient to get to and from the room.

Great location! Right on Fisherman’s Warf. Parking is super expensive. Still cheaper than most of Sam Francisco but it’s 74 dollar per day. Ridiculous. Hotel isn’t cheap either but given the location it’s just about right.

It was great!

The fact that they charge $65 for parking for hotel guests
