Always a pleasure to stay at this hotel . Room always clean and friendly staff . Convenient safe location.

The front desk staff was helpful on check in. The room decor was unimpressive and sub-par. The staff person in the Bistro was condescending and unhelpful. The coffee station in the morning was not up to par. There was no top sheet on the bed. On check out, we were not asked how our stay was nor were we thanked for our business. All in all, a big disappointment, especially since it was my daughter's birthday weekend and we had really be looking forward to the stay.

The location and usually the staff and rooms. This time was different. The staff weren’t welcoming, the room was twice the usual price and half the size.

I had a great stay. No complaints. Clean, well-appointed place with a friendly staff and in a great location. And windows that open. I love that.

It's a fantastic location in union square, very convenient walking to lots of places. The property is nice, good food in the onsite restaurant. However the room was pretty dated and tight for the price charged. No USB charging ports anywhere, most outlets were hard to find and already had lamps plugged in. Views were of buildings fairly close to the hotels. Not upto the usual standards for a Taj property / high end US hotel.

Staff was great. Friendly. Location is very convenient. Housekeeping seemed so so but our rooms were clean and comfortable. Bell staff was top notch. I’d stay here again…I come frequently and have stayed at Grand Hyatt across the street, Ritz and a handful of other places. Taj is convenient and very quiet. Rooms are a bit dated but we didn’t spend much time in them.

Great staff. Very well trained and hotel is always very welcoming. This is a smaller hotel but still has full meal service and a gym. I also love the location. Right off Union Square. A great place to grab coffee in the am and enjoy the square.
