Hotel De Anza by IHG

Disappointed as it's usually a nice and relaxing hotel to stay at.

Excellent location and amenities.

Due to maintenance upgrades, the hotel televisions were not available. The room was clean and welcoming. However, I could not take a shower because the water remained cold. I reported this to the manager and they gave me a thirty percent discount. That was a pleasant surprise.

Great hotel. The cable was misleading; there were only 27 channels available.

Anthony the Manager was very friendly and welcoming! Enjoyed our one night stay, even in the mist of renovations. Very close to downtown restaurants, one block walking distance. And cafe on site is delicious and definitely worth it!!!

There was not free parking as advertised.

Parking by Valet only. Otherwise a nearby parking garage had to be utilized. Lots of renovations going on, and had to change room due to non-functional A/C. Otherwise nice place right near downtown eateries, clubs, etc. Would go there again.

Lots of loud noise from the street below, though it was a Saturday night with some event.

Ac didnt not work! Left hotel because we couldn't sleep! Made several attempts to contact manager Anthony! Never received return call! Front desk held 500 dollars deposit!

My room was 92 degrees when I arrived, and it took 1 hour for them to give me a new room. The maintenance guys were great.

Checked into the hotel late and went to the room. The room was 85 degrees, and the air conditioner didn't work. Went to the front desk to ask for another room, and they said the entire hotel was done for the entire day!!!! My wife was in a wheelchair and there were no bellmen to help with our luggage. They said they would comp the room if we stayed, as we checked out of the hotel to find another at 11 PM! everything.

location was great there was an issue with the AC and i was informed only at check in and i was only offer for a full refund at 11:30pm, nothing else was offered

Exceptional

The location The hotel was extremely outdated and hot ! The AC units weren’t working but the staff didn’t tell anyone that until we figured it out in our own . They tried to offer fans mind you the rooms were 90 degrees and humid . The front desk worker offered me a refund and to add points to my IHG account so I could get another which she never did . Also the bathroom had some sticky orange stuff on the floor and wall .Overall 0/10 for me .

The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice There was a lot of construction going on and most of the amenities were not available. There was no restaurant on site. There was nowhere to get a glass of wine if you wanted.

Temperature inside the room was 99degrees and the air conditioning was broken. The staff was no help at all offering fixes for the issue. We requested a fan to help but there was no circulation in the room whatsoever. We asked for another room and they had the same issue with multiple rooms. Many people checked out and left including half of my party because of the unbearable heat. This was unacceptable
