Great hotel, staff was amazing

Everything about this hotel was excellent! From the rooms, to the staff, to the property as a whole was great. Very appreciative of allowing dogs to stay and the free breakfast every morning. Will definitely stay at this property again.

I had a wonderful stay at Hyatt House San Jose airport the past 2 days. I stayed here very frequently every time I visited San Jose. However this time i notice a much better experience here. Must be under new management! Everything was too notched from the front desk to the room and breakfast buffet. Everything is clean, modernized updated. The staff was always helpful and accommodating. Even though I stayed here numerous times, this time was extra special. If you ever experienced a Hyatt stay you will never wanted to stay anywhere else, even Hilton! 5 stars plus!!👍👍👍

All areas of the building were very clean, even though the hotel was fully booked. No problem with parking either. Only a 10–15-minute drive to the Convention Center. Nice and affordable place for a family. The kitchenette in our room was also a great option. The only downside was the pull-out sofa. The mattress was really uncomfortable and could use an upgrade.

The breakfast offered (the French toast was subpar; the fruit seemed a little squishy, no pork-free sausage or bacon offered and the overall options were lack-luster) Parking spaces (I didn't realize there are 2 different Hyatt properties sharing one medium-sized parking lot. I ended up having to make a place to park that was not a legitimate parking place. Daily room cleaning (despite not putting up the do-not distrub sign, our room was not serviced and I needed to call down for fresh towels) The iron did not work and I needed to get another one.

Pleasant

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good selection. Conveniently located to VTA lignt rail to get to Levi Stadium.

The team leader in the morning sorted out a part refund for the inconvenience!

The bed is horrible. We almost left after the first night because it was so uncomfortable. No water pressure in the shower. The front patio area where the gas fire pits are have no cushions on the patio furniture, despite it being advertised with cushions in their pictures. The staff explained that homeless people take the cushions. I feel it should be offered for guests and put away at the end of the night. Other than those issues, the suite was ok. It was quiet, and clean. The parking lot had Tesla super chargers which was convenient.

Superb

The room was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by the island in the kitchen when I walked in. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a plenty of options to choose from. There are also plenty of eateries to experience nearby.

Our room was clean and comfortable. It had a coffee bar, plenty of outlets, and a sofa.

My room wasn't ready until almost 6pm so I had to wait in the lobby. They did comp my parking, so just a minor inconvenience. Luckily I didn't have anywhere to be.

Helpful staff

The Monterey Plaza & Spa Hotel is our favorite place to stay. Wonderful dining, great scenery right on the water, professional and friendly staff, it’s just the best vacation whenever we stay there!

Exceptional

I liked everything! The location, the service, the comfort, and the breakfast The only thing I didn’t like is about having to pay for parking. Specially when the facility doesn’t become responsible if something happens to your car.
