Spark by Hilton San Jose Airport

The representative I spoke with said she would check with her manager about charging a prorated rate of $10 per day due to the short duration of my trip. She told me she would call me back if the manager did not approve it, but if I didn’t hear anything, everything was good to go. When I checked in, I asked about the agreed-upon parking arrangement, but the employee at the desk had no knowledge of it and was unwilling to honor the rate. I was told a message had been sent to the staff group chat to see if anyone remembered speaking with me, and once again I was told I would receive a call if there was an issue. The following morning, while arranging airport transportation, I asked to confirm that everything had been resolved with parking. I spoke with the manager who had no record of the conversation and seemed unwilling to listen or work with me on a solution. I even provided my call log to verify that I had contacted the hotel prior to booking. I specifically requested that my card not be charged until the issue could be discussed further. After my flight, I called the hotel and was informed that my card had already been charged. It’s frustrating that parking is only offered

Room was clean, breakfast needs more of a variety of food.

The place was clean, pool was outdoor, clean and warm. The breakfast was good. The traffic from the airport was a bit much since we are not use to that. It was a great place to stay. Burger King is right next door and my family felt safe here.

Convenient location on the airport perimeter. Great value and looks like the European steyle with the basics in the room. Still maintains the Hilton standard.

Our door entrance practically butted up with the 2nd floor back entrance and we heard it slam off and on all night.

The check in staff was amazing and helpful. It felt like a hotel within a motel which was interesting. The breakfast was good, a little higher quality than simple continental. The room was clean, had good AC and decent amenities.

My experience with the location was ok. House keeping was exceptional. The front desk clerk wasn’t welcoming .

The hotel and staff were great, but the walls are paper thin and the people next to us were talking very loud and slamming doors all night. Kids were crying. Luckily we were super tired and able to finally sleep, but definitely did not need an alarm clock.

A disclaimer to those sensitive to noise *** It is right next to the San Jose airport, so you will hear planes taking off constantly. What I mean is, you will feel like you are actually at the airport, that's how close it is. I knew this before going and the noise of planes doesn't bother me. If this type of noise does bother you, you should find a different place. Just FYI. Again, it didn't bother me, so my stay was great.

I expected a lot more for the price.

Easy to airport, love the uber instead of the shuttle very good idea! The two staff members I encountered were exceptional folks! Efficient, friendly and on point. Quick stay but 100% winning
