Was an amazing place to crash for a night after staying in hostels for a while

Very good

Quiet and close to downtown. 2 great bus stops right outside the property Checked in for 4 days. Put a DO NOT DISTURB sign on my door to try and sleep off the jet lag and was woken up the very next morning by the cleaner. She argued with me that I needed to check out. I told her she was wrong The next morning (with the sign still on the door) she knocked and knocked again. This time I didn’t open for her and she eventually went away.

It was affordable and clean.

Took forever, 1/2 hour or so to get reception on TV. Had to maneuver buttons in back of it to finally get the “Menu”. Mattress was very soft, but slept OK, back was little sore in morning. It was in some kind of mode that makes it very difficult to get the “Menu” to just start it. No Kleenex tissue. EVERYONE has Kleenex, even if the texture is not to your liking. Had to go out to buy some. Only one face cloth & one wash cloth ?? Room has 2 beds for two persons. Had to call office for more, however they did furnish them promptly. Good points: room was clean, area was quiet.

The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Simple set up, we were pleased with our room. Great value. Very minor but, no tissues for us drippy nosed older folks. But, this would not stop us from staying here again next time we visit.

Cute, classic American motel, run by very friendly staff. I enjoyed my stay.

Perfect

This stay was ideal for attending a concert at SAP Center. The motel is conveniently located within walking distance, and parking on the property was entirely secure. While the motel may appear somewhat dated, it is well-maintained. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate, and the shower provided excellent water pressure. The sole issue we encountered was the inadequate airflow from the air conditioning unit.

The room was clean and well maintained but reeked of pine sol. Also the traffic noise made it impossible to sleep.

The location is perfect for so many activities.

Great location if you are needing a lesser expensive option around San Jose

Very good

If you are in San Jose and need a unique mid century hotel to stay at look no further. The staff was professional and friendly. The location is excellent. It was perfect, I have no complaints.

Exceptional

This was my 2nd time staying here and would stay again.

Bad

It served it's function well enough. I barely spent any time in the room, just enough to do the essentials before heading to the convention I was in town for. The staff didn't always have the greatest grasp of English. And some minor gripes about amenities (only one soap provided that wasn't shower or hand washing specific, and no conditioner). I got what I paid for I guess. What made this place good was the surrounding area, mostly independent shops and restaurants, not something you'd see further into the city.
