Bakery was great

Perfect two day birthday stay! We loved everything about our visit especially our little surprise daily visitor 🐈⬛

We stayed in the Daisy Mae Cave room and it blew our minds. the shower is a rock waterfall. The sink has running water cascading down the walls to a basin. the room is covered in tiny lights that set off the look and feel of a cave.

One of the hot tubs was lukewarm but other than that it was perfect

Fun place, unexpected luxury. Vegas glitz! The steakhouse was fabulous, great staff. The property was nice and clean and quiet. The room was fun and clean and quiet. I would love to come back and stay longer. I had The Golfer suite. Truly beautiful.

Beautiful rooms and exquisite restaurants. A wonderful heated pool. We just loved that too. The grounds were beautiful as well. I wish there had been an elevator but we will book the first floor next time. Loved all the history with this property.

We stayed in room 186, amazing decor very clean, breathtaking view. Staff was amazing, nice, helpful etc. However, the cold water handle on the bathroom soak was broken.

Always an amazing stay at the Madonna Inn. Great atmosphere and food.

The most magical hotel ever!!!
-
We were elated to be able to get into the main restaurant , and his service was the icing on the cake!!!
-
Had to wait over 20 minutes at the pool bar for a drink (maybe add some liquor drinks like Ameretto Sour as well) otherwise everything was excellent and amazing!
-
Also the restaurant is pretty much reservation only and everything is outrageously priced. A deck of cards from the gift shop is $10, most meals from the actual dining area are 60-80$ and from the poor people restaurant (Crocker something) the sandwiches where 20$-30$. Overall it was ok, like I said I’m rating it poorly cause the price. If it was cheaper I can forgive more of the downsides. One other thing, in the room we stayed at the bathroom door didn’t lock and the carpet stopped like an inch from the wall, which is just sloppy work and took away from the experience.

Poor internet, basically could not use interent. Restauarant food breakfast, lunch, and dinner quality poor and too expesive. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being oustanding) food it was a 2. Would not recommending eating on the property! Ate breakfast lunch and dinner downtown SLO.
