Motel 6 Atlanta, GA - Atlanta Airport

Bed was terrible, tv did not work, and the morning I was getting ready a roach crawled across my floor. I knew there was a $3 hotel fee but don't recall seeing or being told about the $7 parking fee.

Floor had grit and crumbs on it, hair in bathtub, and the hot water didn't work. Bed was clean and mostly comfortable. I wasn't overly bothered as I only needed a place to sleep before flying out of Atlanta for a trip. I would have been upset I needed to stay longer.

It’s was nice

Several issues. Bugs in room, alive and dead. Phone lit up but did not ring ruining my wake-up call. My "quiet" requested room was close to the outdoor pool and facing the noisy street. Shuttle driver left 10 minutes before schedule, causing me to wait for next one 30+ minutes later, causing lateness to an event. Shuttle was also very late in picking up from airport and I had to take a shuttle from a nearby property/tip that driver. Housekeeper tried to come in twice 15 minutes before my scheduled checkout, so I told her to come back an hour later. Lobby has no place to sit. No complimentary breakfast of any kind despite the relatively high Motel 6 price. Location is good, near eateries and airport. Staff was very nice. A shame overall because if it were better I would have stayed longer, maybe others too. This property has the potential to be so much better, and I hope some manager or higher up makes that happen.

When you walk into the building, you are hit with the smell of cigarette smoke and marijuana. Check-In was quick but the receptionist was not friendly and seemed to hate being there. My room was on the 3rd floor and the whole floor smelled like cigarette smoke although it says it’s a no smoking building. The room wasn’t terrible in terms of cleanliness (could have swept the room) until I saw a cockroach crawl from under the fridge and its little babies. There were baby roaches in the bathroom as well. I had to check all my luggage to make sure none were in there but thankfully all my things were zipped up. Check-out was easy and the person at reception was kind and friendly. Overall, I will not stay here again and learned my lesson to spend a little more for comfort, even if it’s for a few hours.

Great location because it's near the airport What I didn't like was the fact that I was told that housekeepers don't give recheck ins new towels or wash cloths and I feel that is very unprofessional because if I'm paying all of this money just to stay there then why can't I get new towels and wash cloth

I have made many reservations via Hotel.com and I have NEVER had issue with my reservation!!! After calling his manager, I was told to cancel my reservation!! I couldn’t even get a reason why!!! I kept informing him that the room was already paid for and that there was no reason to charge whatever card they were trying to charge, even though the card on file was a Visa, not a Mastercard. When I asked him why was he trying to charge anything when the room was already paid for, he became irate and told me “not to question him”. I attempted to speaking to customer service from Hotel.com and they kept calling and the call would not go through!!! I want a refund!
