Comfort Inn & Suites Orange County John Wayne Airport

All the staff was very friendly and the whole place was clean. The open air design makes it very refreshing when you get up early and walk out. Truly a great place to stay.

Extended my stay called front desk to request room to be cleaned came back around 6pm and room had not been cleaned. Called front desk I was told “they didn’t have enough time” and when asked for towels at least I was told I can go down and get them myself. I did housekeeping for 10yrs my room was already on the list for check out which your given 30 mins to clean and it turned into a stay over which takes about 15 mins to clean but yet they “didn’t have time” to get to my room. We were there for my kids tournament and all I wanted after being in the sun for hours was to come to a clean room and a made up bed. I called and spoke to management next morning and all they did was give me points and a later check out. At that point I was already unsatisfied and had been there since Sunday to Wednesday

Only problem was TV, we did not call for help as we were tired we just decided not to bother, couldn’t change Chanel’s, weak batteries and close caption lettering was locked on four words from previous use, not our, was also there in morning, alerted front desk at check out

I booked two rooms both rooms had ants and spiders even in the bed.They did come and spray when I brought it to their attention but then we had to smell bug spray all night.The hot tub was green could not get in it!! The staff was somewhat helpful offering for us to switch rooms but they would not be together and we were traveling as a family so that wasn’t something that would work for us…I asked for a discount on rooms but was told they couldn’t do it because we could have switched rooms .. Overall experience would not recommend this hotel

Had to switch rooms due to ants but otherwise it was fine for the cost!

Basic room. Chlorine smell and humidity seeped in the room all night so had to keep the a/c running. The bathroom door was a pocket door that was super heavy and inconvenient to open and close. Bath towels were rough and some had tears. Ok for a quick overnight stay but probably worth a few extra bucks to stay down the street at the Embassy Suites.

WiFi didn’t reach my room. Room was next to noisy elevator equipment room. When I checked in, the room was hard to find and I had a lot of luggage. The staff did not help, she kept just pointing in the general direction of my room while I walked in circles around the property. Room was old and poorly updated. TV didn’t work because it’s web based and bad internet connection to it.

Close to the airport, very convenient

The breakfast was great. The facility and room were very clean. The only thing we didn’t like was that the rooms open to the outside. Lack of security

Great staff room was much better than the hotel the night before.

My room has been kept in excellent condition, and I have followed all guidelines throughout my stay. However, the additional charge has not yet been credited back to my card.

Very centralized to everything I needed, very clean and a good place to stay !!!

Ok hotel

Now in the morning. They have the first one at 5.45 and then next one at 10.30!! What a SCAM! I ended paying $34 is UBER charges.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Hotel itself was satisfactory but I can’t give them a high rating due to the conflicts that arose. My husband arrived several hours before I did as I was on a flight from across the country and since the room was only booked in my name, the employe would not allow him to check in the room and was very rude about it. We have the same last name, same address, same credit card and she would not give him access to the room. He was told since it was booked thru a third party, she could not do anything. There was also no manager on duty. Furthermore, the room that was booked at the time of the reservation was not the type of room we were given. I was told nothing could be done and I asked to speak to a manager and was told again that there was not one on duty but I could speak to one the next day. The next day, I asked to speak with the manager and was told by a different employee that no manager is present on the weekend. I reached out to the third party I booked with and they made several attempts to contact the hotel and there was never a response. I will not stay at this hotel chain again due the circumstances that arose and the unwillingness to accommodate us.
