However, not having a working Wi-Fi was the major issue for me considering I'm working remote. I had to use the hotspot on my cell phone or go to the nearest Starbucks for 6 hours a day. I did call the front desk several times and they did advise that they would refund me for checking out early and finding a hotel with better Wi-Fi service. However, it was a very busy weekend in this area between softball, hockey and water polo tournaments there was really no other place to stay without spending 200+ dollars more per day. It was just really frustrating and very inconvenient. The other option they gave me was to work on the Lobby because the signal was strong there when in fact it really wasn't.

WiFi was down all 3 days we were there. No comps were offered, only thing was said was “check out and we will refund you” pool was dirty, bands aids, trashy and sandy.

The sheets were dirty and had stains. Shower curtains were ripped.

Our door latch was broken and barely attached, door would not fully shut. Killed a cockroach in the bathroom towels and bags of trash all over property. If we hadn’t arrived at night, would have left immediately

The hotel facilities felt a bit old; the room near the horse didn't provide a good night's sleep; and the light switches were faulty.

This property is a diamond in the rough, so to speak. Its an older property but has so much charm. It is both a hotel and an extended stay. Also it is very family friendly. The rooms have been mostly renovated - the bathroom was not but it was acceptable. The property is clean and the grounds are really pretty. So much green. Other than a soccer team staying there - young kids with their families being rowdy at the pool, it was quiet overall by bedtime. Pool is small but fine. There's a nice little sitting area around the pool. There were only a few small things I would point out: the TVs are quite old - at least mine was and it didn't have a remote. Annoying but not the end of the world. It must have gotten lost. Parking is very tight and the lot itself is wonky - not sure how else to describe it, just drive slowly. :) One elevator was down during our stay which happens but there was another close to our room that worked. Breakfast was not a buffet - they plated it for you and there wasn't a variety. That said it was okay. I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Wrapping up here, I'd stay there again.

Bad: I smelled faint cigarette smoke in the room masked in part by running the bathroom fan. (This hotel is supposedly 100% smoke free.) It took two days of housekeeping applying air freshener to diminish the smell. The refrigerator looked clean, but smelled like pot. I was afraid to store food in there. I also smelled pot in the hallway. After I spent 20 minutes on the phone with hotels.com because my virtual credit card was declined (hotels.com problem), the staff checked me in but forgot to return my credit card. I was too tired to notice. They failed to tell me that I left my credit card at the front when I called immediately afterwards to complain about the smoke, when I requested air freshener at the front desk the next day, and the following day when I requested air freshener again. They said that they called the room, but there were other ways they could have informed me. O-kay: The free airport shuttle runs infrequently. The free parking lot was narrow, difficult to navigate with all the cars going in and out. Room was cleaner than average, but I found trash and socks left by others before I checked out. The building is old, and the elevator was broken.

So, on the one hand, I enjoyed seeing parents and their children have lots of fun, my son had difficulty falling sleep because of the noise. I would stay here again, though. Everything is within close distance and the breakfast is very helpful :)

Great size for what we needed as family of 4. The hotel is very lively, you may witness kids playing baseball or soccer outside, which we didn't mind at all, but just a heads up that this is very family friendly. It can get loud when families pass your unit. There must have been a tournament/team event happening when we went. Breakfast staff were great, cleaning staff were accommodating, however I can't say they will clean the unit thoroughly. I found goo or what looked like slime with hairs between our disposable cups next to the coffee machine. So disgusting. Good thing I brought our own Nespresso and disposable cups. I just requested extra cups from breakfast hall that's clean. Just a heads up there will be no amenities for the kitchenette (like plates or silverware/cleaning supplies) so bring your own, unless all you need is microwaving ready-to-eat foods. Our fridge was also leaking water from the freezer that I can to place a couple of towels to keep the shelves dry. Other than these, the hotel condition was as expected for the price. Thank you!

The locks to the doors need to be looked at!! We were alway having to replace our keys

The room was clean and comfortable

breakfast was the same everyday the two days I was there, not much selection. eggs, pancakes, sausage, oranges. I have been to other hotels and a much greater selection was offered. oatmeal, waffles, yogart etc.

The outside grounds of the hotel were very nice and kept up well.

We arrived at our room and found there was no parking. We had to circle the lot twice because there were vehicles taking up two parking spots. Check-in was fine. It was me, my wife, and our 2-month-old. We were told where the elevator was, only to find out it was out of service. The other elevator wasn't very close, so we just used the stairs and carried our luggage. We got inside our room. I always check the bed anywhere I stay, and I recommend you do too. The first thing we noticed was that the bed had hairs on it. Long hairs that looked like they were really stuck to the bedding. I then lifted the pillow and saw a LIVE cockroach scrambling around before it made its way behind the bed. Then I saw another bug on the side of the bed. We immediately left the room and went back down to the front desk. I told the guy working there, and his reaction blew my mind. Not a "sorry." Not an "oh no." Nothing that showed he was shocked, embarrassed, or concerned. That just told me this kind of thing might be common at MainSuites. He offered me another room, but we'd have to downgrade from a king bed to a queen bed. Lol... I wouldn't stay here even if he offered me a presidential suite. The thing with roaches is that it's never really just one. If there is one, there's likely more than one. I wouldn't be shocked if there's an infestation in the walls.

Love it the location, close to airport!! Clean place and quite

Its amenities were great. The pool and hot tub was nice and washing/dryer machine was so convenient. The had a hot breakfast every morning that was included. The room was big, looked new and very clean. The kitchenette perfect for our extended stay for a week there. I will definitely stay at a mainstays suites again. The staff was so nice and helpful.

the room key gets deactivated…this fact was never raised during check-in. A colleague came early in the morning and picked-up a room key…had to walk to the 3rd floor as the elevator was out of order, when she got to the room, the key was already deactivated!!! REALLY?????
