With its friendly staff, clean rooms, and great amenities, the Best Western Plus Santa Barbara has become our absolute favorite hotel for trips to Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo. Highly recommended!

Facilities were clean and the restaurant was great.

It is a good location

Super friendly staff at check-in , even provided us a great upgrade. Property is definitely a bit aged but they are currently doing upgrades and it was a great value for the price! Good location and clean rooms and comfortable beds.
-
No parking provided at all for our stay :/ and they didn’t seem to care had to park on street and is between residential areas horrible

We booked a family suite that included two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen came stocked with pots, pans, plates, and utensils, which made our stay very convenient. The property was clean and well maintained. We did experience an issue with the toilet, but the staff responded promptly and sent someone to fix it right away. Overall, we had a great experience, and if we return to the area, we would definitely stay here again.

The plants and European look and feel. The bed was a bit too soft for a bad back, but I loved the bedding and overall feeling of being there. Our granddaughter loved the beds, everything about the rooms and, most of all, the pool and Jacuzzi.

After requesting a ground floor room for handicap purposes on the website, the office said the did not get it and found us a room requiring the use of an underground elevator. Parking under there was TERRIBLE! after returning to the hotel after dinner we were unable to use the elevator! OUT OF SERVICE. Really?? Now we had to use stairs. My husband has sver balance issues and is advised not to use stairs. Fortunately he did not fall. This hotel is laid out so screwy that we could never find the office from our room building. Terrible coffee, and I HATE powdered creamer. Noisy HVAC. Never again.

I should have asked about a downstairs apartment unit. I took my 85 year old mom with knee problems and she had to climb the stairs - no elevator. She had some difficulty. The staff is nice and the property is quite pretty otherwise.

Very private The furniture is old .
-
Lovely staff in oak restaurant, room spacious and pool was great. Not walling distance to downtown

The location. The hotel was too pricey to be an outdated rooms. It was very un organised. They charge for self parking even when you’re staying there. And needs better direction to the self park. I saw a bear right in front of my car when I was getting out. The slots were too expensive and too tight. The changing machine took my $100. The cocktail people couldn’t be found, and once you order, they take too long to come back.

Excellent service friendly staff and very helpful. The hotel is very quiet at night.

Secondly, this room is right above their laundry room which gives vibrations to room like there is an earthquake of 10 grade. I’m heart patient and it gave me lots of problem. Frankly speaking this room they shall make store room rather than living until they have big big laundry down. They did offered to me room change which did not have same category but with 6 luggage opened up all room and our busy schedule it looks like another pain for us.

Location and nostalgia. The air conditioner unit smelled moldy. The room had an odor the entire time we were there.
-
very small bed for 4 people

The location The pillows are bumpy and very large and hard. It was very hard to sleep with such uncomfortable pillows. I asked front desk and they said those are standard BW pillows but I know that other BW have more comfortable pillows. I paid extremely high price during graduation weekend and felt they should at least provide the minimum in comfort. It also said breakfast but it was not included. Disappointed.
