Liked that the room was upstairs. However I do believe they need more parking

This is a motel in need of immediate updates. The beds were saggy, the linens were worn and ripped, the AC didn't work, the carpet was gross and squishy, the bathroom sink was cracked, the shower tiles were moldy, and the TV remote didn't work. In addition to all of that, the walls are paper thin and there is noise all day and night. I won't be staying here again, and do not recommend.

Santa Barbara. There was a surly guest room inhabitant who needed to shut her yap.

run down motel on outside. looked no way like night photos. rooms looked nice in online photos but my toom was just mismatched furniture and not much decor or amenities. asked to change room late at night due to wifi not working and tv not working. light in bathroom strobeing badly and giving me headache. guy at desk just shrugged his shoulders. also, late at night near midnight, they let someone in room next to mine and guy was loud and slamming doors and actually started screaming at someone in parking lot outside my window around 3:30am! no one from motel came out. all in all, would never return or recommend.

Nice enough inside, spacious. Exterior needs a facelift but overall a good experience. Not really in walking distance to the brace but a few blocks away is a free golf cart shuttle up and down state street and to the beach.

Location Bugs, noise from outside, not sound proof, mismatched furniture dilapidated fridge

Very successful location. Friendly girl at the reception Terrifyingly old motel, the smell of chlorine in the room, the sink that does not flush the water, the carpet burned with an iron. There are no cups, kettle, microwave in the rooms. There is absolutely nothing, not even paper cups! It's just a horror movie from the past.

Bad smells with many broken features.

Room was clean. Great bed and bathroom. All we needed for a one night stay.

Classic motel

The light in the bathroom flicked so much it made it difficult to be in there and the room had a smell of some kind

It was clean and fresh in the room. Looked fairly newly updated with new paint and flooring, but that was about it. The locks on the doors only worked on the door knob, no bolt or other lock option. Neither the A/C nor heater worked, so they had a very small space heater which had to be kept by the bed and at times still wasn't enough to heat more than 1 person.. There was only 1 very dim working lamp in the room. The parking lot was very small and didnt seem to have enough spaces. We had to find parking elsewhere at times. It was also very loud outside which woke us up early on the weekend, possibly for trash pickup or maintenance. Also strangely, the closet and mini fridge were located in the bathroom. Also, the TV had no cable service.

We loved that our room did look like the photos and wasn't deceiving as far as size. The bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of storage for our items. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of supplies for us (toilet paper, soap). We loved the location and that was walking distance for a lot of places we wanted to check out! We were able to walk to breakfast, then the mission, and back to the room- highly recommend but be ready for the slight uphill. Although there are some amenities we wished we had in the room, we would stay here again and recommend to others. We had issues with the window, which the manager on site was kind to help me with but we weren't able to have a working window. There was also a slight breeze that was felt during the night, but we had an extra blanket so it was manageable. We wish there were some amenities such as hangers, an iron, and microwave in the room. We knew to bring our own snacks/drinks but didn't expect not to have a microwave to use. Our shower also wasn't draining properly, which we did tell management on check-out.

This is the worst room I have stayed in for years. The photographs and descriptions on the website are extremely misleading. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of our room. We were assigned room number 4 on the ground floor. I think the room was somewhere in the 160-200 square foot range unlike the advertised 400 square feet. The carpet was old and probably not very clean, I did not want to walk on it in bare feet. There were no pictures or decorations in the room at all. The ancient HVAC system is operated by an "on/off" switch on the wall. The controls on the unit are so worn off, you can't even see them. There was not even a plastic cup in the room. No coffee maker. Beds were adequate and the linens all seemed clean. I believe my all in price for this room was $217 for a Tuesday night in June. I would never consider staying at this property again.
