Lovely hotel that's clean and modern with welcoming staff (extra thanks to Jordan in the bar!) and great facilities. Plenty of parking, a nice pool area, and a little shop for essentials. The hotel isn't quite in the center of Santa Barbara, so expect a ten minute walk to restaurants. Room was spacious and bathroom was spotless. A common complaint for me in many hotels - why do the coffee sachets also come with a disposable plastic tray? Let's try to reduce single-use plastic!

Asked twice for housekeeping at check in but did not get housekeeping. Also told them at check in we would not be using self parking but still got charged for self parking. “Exit” sign hanging down by wires myself and husband nearly hit our heads on multiple times just outside 2nd floor of the building.

It was a great day for mine and my wife’s 29th wedding anniversary

The hotel lobby Starbucks coffeemaker didn't work at least three out of the five days we were there, but alternate arrangements were made and we were never without. During our last night, we discovered we were unable to open the sliding glass door to our balcony, which was a disappointment but we were too lazy to contact anyone about it. Also, the room was not cleaned by the time we needed to get ready for dinner (just after 4:40 pm) and we did not contact housekeeping when we headed out for dinner, so we never got our room cleaned that final night of our stay. So, our only complaints were minor enough that we did not contact management to remedy the situations.

I like the location

Clean rooms, helpful staff, great pool, central location.

Location and pool/restaurant Renovations on our floor in the hallway were a little bit of a surprise/undisclosed and made the quality of the hotel less than what we paid (seemingly top dollar during peak season). We also got a room that faced right into a smoke break area of another business and it was a bit odd.

Great pool in combination with a hot tub and a restaurant makes this hotel unique!

The hotel is fantastic! However, the hospitality leaves much to be desired. The check-in process was excellent, and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. In contrast, the checkout experience was quite poor. I slipped and fell near the reception area and pool; although there was a wet floor sign, I believe the receptionist noticed my fall but didn't come out to check on my well-being. Witnesses to the incident were genuinely concerned and inquired if I was alright. I approached the reception to inform the receptionist that the sign should be relocated to where the wet floor was, and I mentioned that I had slipped and fallen. Her response was simply that the sign was in place, showing no concern whatsoever. And for that reason I don’t recommend this location.

Very comfy bed, spacious room Pool bar food had no vegetarian meal available. The only thing billed as a vegetarian meal turned out to be a pile of arugala with a tiny bit of grain mixed in. In the 21st century!

Thank you for a wonderful and restful few days

Very clean and quiet stay for us. The property is newly renovated and has a nice atmosphere. The room was large although could have helped if they had a sofa bed in the room. Coffee station at the lobby was great and there is a pool bar. But no onsite restaurant. The area around the hotel is quiet and clean. Loved our stay here.

I recommend. Everything is fine! The service is very high!
