Courtyard by Marriott Santa Barbara Downtown

Clean rooms, helpful staff, great pool, central location.

Location and pool/restaurant Renovations on our floor in the hallway were a little bit of a surprise/undisclosed and made the quality of the hotel less than what we paid (seemingly top dollar during peak season). We also got a room that faced right into a smoke break area of another business and it was a bit odd.

Great pool in combination with a hot tub and a restaurant makes this hotel unique!

The hotel is fantastic! However, the hospitality leaves much to be desired. The check-in process was excellent, and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. In contrast, the checkout experience was quite poor. I slipped and fell near the reception area and pool; although there was a wet floor sign, I believe the receptionist noticed my fall but didn't come out to check on my well-being. Witnesses to the incident were genuinely concerned and inquired if I was alright. I approached the reception to inform the receptionist that the sign should be relocated to where the wet floor was, and I mentioned that I had slipped and fallen. Her response was simply that the sign was in place, showing no concern whatsoever. And for that reason I don’t recommend this location.

Very comfy bed, spacious room Pool bar food had no vegetarian meal available. The only thing billed as a vegetarian meal turned out to be a pile of arugala with a tiny bit of grain mixed in. In the 21st century!

Very clean and quiet stay for us. The property is newly renovated and has a nice atmosphere. The room was large although could have helped if they had a sofa bed in the room. Coffee station at the lobby was great and there is a pool bar. But no onsite restaurant. The area around the hotel is quiet and clean. Loved our stay here.

I recommend. Everything is fine! The service is very high!

Mid-century modern style hotel close to the centre of town with safe parking, pool and poolside bar.

Clean room. They had no body lotion, robe , slippers. And the shower is not adjustable

I really I really enjoy the property. Everything is so clean and the staff is so sweet and helpful. Nothing… I loved the property !

ELECTRICITY WENT OUT IN HALF THE ROOM. MAINTENANCE HAD TO TURN BREAKER BACK ON. WIFI SERVICE VERY SPOTTY. TOWELS WERE NEVER AVAILABLE AT THE POOL. OTHER THAN THESE ISSUES, THE STAY WAS PLEASANT. THE LOCATION WAS CENTRAL AND GREAT. STAF WAS FRIENDLY.

No complementary breakfast and they charge an additional 30 dollars for parking at their own hotel. So dissapointed.

Nice room, friendly staff. Noisy group at the pool area. 11:00 pm is too late to shut it down. Especially when other guests have to be up early for work or other reasons.
