Great hotel in the heart of Santa Barbara!
-
Don't stay here they make it seem like the photos of the hotel is what you will get but that is just if you pay for the penthouse house like 1,000$+ a night they use this main photos to get you they scam us and gave us the smallest "room" you could imagine. On the photos you can see next to the entry is the small shower and toilet, the bed is to right to the furniture that your feet will touch it. They do not refund you your money after you tell them if not what they advertise. Also there a bar and the hallway to the rooms is open to the public anybody can go on hallways! Horrible! All about this hotel is a scam the images shown for the reservations are for a penthouse. I reserved a room for a night thinking that it was the one on the images since it was $500 a night. Instead when we open the door it was the smallest room, extremely low quality for the price that the bed is built in the wall with the furniture that your feet can touch it. also the shower and toilet are basically next to the entry since is so so small! Is outrageous how a hotel can sell this as 500$ a night, they now what they're doing. Do not book here they will also not refund you your money when you make the complain on is not what it shown. Booking will also not back you up and not give you the money. We talk to Darcy from front desk and we explain why we were not staying and she said she understand, you could tell on her face this is not the first time she's heard this.

The location is ideal, smack in the middle of downtown. The pictures of the rooms are not very accurate. The rooms are very small and not very comfortable.
-
Great location! Cute rooms, but on the smaller side. Minimalistic amenities. Staff was helpful. Dawn and Dusk patio area is great. They have bikes you can use for the day which was fun!

Excellent location. Nice hotel and amenities. Loved Dawn and Dusk .

The hotel was cute but the room was tiny with a completely clear glass shower in the middle of the room. Also the bed is fixed to the walls so there’s only one side to get in and out of the bed. They really meant cozy when they described the room. The cafe and bar downstairs was convenient but also a bit loud at night. We didn’t know it at the time but it was graduation weekend for UCSB so the cost of accommodations were a bit astronomical. I think the room would have been more economically priced during off season. I would recommend if you are trying solo. If you are traveling with another person, I hope you know each other very well.

Nothing Noisy, dirty, tiny room, unstaffed.

Location was perfect. The staff at the drift was fantastic Funky smell in the hallway

We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they were very welcoming and paid attention to detail. The staff was very warm ands welcoming. Appreciated the free coffee each morning and both Dusk and Dawn being in such close proximity was amazing. The location was very walkable. Besides the small space for storing out luggage, we would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will be returning.

Trendy The rooms are super small. I could not fit 1 large suitcase!! The bed is pushed against the wall so you need to jump over the other person if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night- the hotel puts sandalwood scent in the cleaning solution so the bedroom has a very strong odor which I was very sensitive to. I had a headache and could not sleep. Although the hotel said they were trying to do “everything they could” I checked out after 1 night and went somewhere else. Now trying to get my money back!! My recommendation- don’t book here there are too many other great hotels.

The hotel was very clean, smelled great, and all the staff were very nice. However, the rooms on the first floor were different than what was shown in the pictures and was misleading. The room did not have a balcony and barely had a window. It was laughable how much this felt like an upscale jail cell. I went back to look at the size because it was tiny, it’s just over 100 sq ft. It made me feel claustrophobic and there wasn’t a ton of privacy with the bathroom area.

Be careful if you should spill anything don’t clean it up. If you use a towel they’ll charge you the cost of the towel spilled an ice latte used and dirty bathe mat to clean it with and was charged $25.

Cozy mini rooms. love the concept. Modern minimalist. Bar has the best craft cocktails around with several mixologists. a must visit.. even if you don't stay here.

Loved the vibe in this hotel and bar! It was a great location and we were able to walk everywhere. We even checked out the bikes and took a bike ride. It was a special event we were celebrating and we felt really spoiled here. The staff was very helpful and made sure we have everything we needed. I would stay her again and highly recommend it.
