This hotel was definitely 10/10. The cleanliness, the staff, the quality of customer service. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing was the room was small but for me on a solo date that was fine and that won’t lower my score. It’s also connected to a restaurant that has amazing food! I cannot wait to go again and stay here. Also, rent the bikes and explore the city. They are free as a guest staying there.

Pet-friendly, good location

looks nothing like the photos online, tiny hotel, no elevator. room was literally a shoe box that was advertised as a “king” room. would not stay here again. also a TINY valet lot that’s overpriced for the fact you can literally walk to your car in 2 seconds rather than them do it for you….and it’s very hard to find any other street parking in the area. I literally feel like I got scammed staying here.

We enjoyed the stay very much. Could have done without the train, but other than that, no complaints. Best hotel coffee I’ve ever had. Loved the aesthetic.

Nice location

Great location! Walking distance to the funk zone and to the pier. Lots of restaurant options. Very small room & bathroom and the hotel doesn’t have an elevator so if you’re in the second floor u have to go up the stairs. I would stay again.

The lobby and common areas of the property are very nice. There is a great outdoor lounge or work area on the 2nd floor, which was really cool for doing some early morning email catch-up. The location can’t be beat. Staff was very nice and helpful. The room was small but comfortable for one or two guests. The major downside was the bathroom, which was woefully small and poorly laid out. There is no real enclosure around the shower, which made it impossible to keep the floor dry. One person barely fit in the bathroom; certainly not suitable for a couple trying to get ready together. The room was relatively clean, however, I did notice that my white socks were pretty dingy after walking around. That floor hadn’t been properly scrubbed in a while. Overall would still recommend, especially because of the location.

The hotel was nice but the rooms were very small. I was not expecting the size of the space to be small. Overall, the hotel was clean and very close to everything in town.

Also, you can hear every noise coming from the hallway and nearby rooms. You can tell that they tried to make the most of the space but for $500+ a night it's too tight and too much for two people. And they only have parking (valet) for about 10 cars. The parking lot is so small I'm not sure why they need a valet. A valet should park all cars in a remote lot vs no parking. We paid $65 a night for the parking lot across the street. Staff was great, location was great but I wouldn't go back due to the above.

Nice staff, great location. Rooms where super small and very outdated. Not worth the almost $800 / night after fees and parking. Try Hotel Santa Barbara for similar pricing and much nicer rooms.

The receptionist Tristan was calm a collect as we had a small issue with one of the rooms and he didn’t hesitate to adjust and comp us accordingly We go to this beautiful hotel every year for the 4th of July and it has nothing short then a special place for us. We highly recommend this hotel and we will be back next year

A delightful place with kind and helpful staff—an oasis of calm, and centrally located!

Location is the best. Right across the street from Stearns Wharf. You can walk everywhere, States St for dining , shopping, and downtown area , Funk Zone Cons: we got the room with 2 double beds because that was all that was left. It says sleeps 4 but it was so tiny it really should’ve slept 2 only. So tiny. The shower was poorly designed. It’s a walk in standing shower, extremely poor drainage. Every time we showered no matter how careful we tried water covered the whole bathroom floor. Such a wet mess. The decorative pillow had a gross looking booger on it. We put that on the floor. The sheets were ripped. I took pics of both. The guy who checked us in was not welcoming at all. We had a lot of luggage because we were on a 10 day roadtrip. We were staying on the second floor. He saw all our luggage and said nothing. We were trying to figure out with 2 kids and a dog how we were going to get everything up there. Then one staff member, Alex was the only one who offered help and showed us that they have an elevator for luggage. He was so kind, smiling, super helpful but unfortunately the only one

The rooms are smaller than they look in the photos and are quite tight. It’s the smallest shower I’ve ever been in. No real problems, it was clean and efficient, just small.

Awesome location! Walkable distance to everything. Small rooms, tiny restrooms / water gets everywhere. Clean room. Some things may need to be updated. Overall good stay. 8/10.
