Excellent location, classic architecture, excellent beds, squeaky clean.

It is close to the beach. When we arrived the member of staff at the entrance watched us unload all our suitcases and did not offer to help us carry them up the entrance steps. Only to be told the rooms are in a different building to the reception and so we had to carry them back down the steps and load them back into the car. There was so arrival drink despite it being a heat advisory, not even water, or luggage assistance given at all. The hotel is spread over several blocks and so when describing the north of east wings they mean completely separate buildings across several different streets. Meaning to use the pool you need to cross the busy street twice and it is almost as far as the beach itself. The pool is tiny and unlike the description where it states you can swim laps, you most definitely do not have room to do this. The pool area is grotty, dated, worn and nothing like the photos. The water provided in the room that is complementary in every hotel I’ve ever been to on your first night was €7 here. There is no bar or food facilities other than a vending machine. The bedding; sheets and pillows were both stained and dirty on our arrival and there air conditioning unit was giving out a very strange smell There was no coffee machine in the room even though the description said there would be. There was no shower gel provided. The staff were rude, unhelpful and unsympathetic when we asked to change rooms or cancel our reservation due to us being unhappy with all of the above. Extremely overpriced for its facilities and decor and the customer service here is non existent. I do not know how they have a 4 star rating. It is far from it. We were so disappointed with the hotel and staff attitude we chose to leave.

I was not aware that there is a separate building a block away from the hotel, lobby, pool and all amenities. It is not on the property so you have no lobby there and nothing is convenient. The room was beautiful and new but I would have liked to know that we weren’t on property

This hotel is directly across the street from Stearns Wharf. It is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. I cannot think of anything I disliked.

The location is very convenient. The room size is big.

Our shower was awful. The shower head faced the glass door which had a half inch gap so water flooded the floor. We moved the shower head resulting in having to squeeze into a corner. Ugh!

Location and quaintness Housekeeping issues - couldn’t communicate well when we needed questions answered and struggled with their timing

The location is excellent! Close walk to shopping and restaurants. The beach is right across the street! The noise. Since the property is on the main road and we had a front ocean view room there was a lot of noise through the night. Motorcycles, loud cars and people being loud all hours.

The facilities were clean and comfortable, and the room was up to expectations. For the quality of the hotel and what was included, the pricing was frankly outrageous. No meals or extra amenities included, and a location that was fine but really nothing special, was really surprising at the price we paid.
