Hotel Santa Barbara

Nice place but homeless sleeping outside of the hotel, not a great look for them. Room was nice ,clean but if you need to hang anything up good luck. Staff was more than accommodating.

Very nice hotel, unfortunately location subjects itself to street noise late at night Thurs - Sat, dependent on room location. Not ideal if a light sleeper

Great room and beautiful hotel! The staff was great; the only issue was loud guests on our floor with barking dogs(with that guest) late into the night. Once I called the front desk, they spoke with the inconsiderate guests, and it was quiet after midnight. I only wish it were a little more soundproof, but the stay was still amazing.

The room was lovely with plenty of lamps to help with the dark paint which is a beautiful gray/green color. I was very disappointed with the shower, it was a tub with a small glass that served as a door (I think) not sure who designed this but it is the worst idea ever as most of the water still ends up outside of the shower area. Honestly this was the biggest disappointment but the good outweigh the bad by far. I definitely plan to stay here again, it's location is unbeatable and the hotel is just beautiful. For my next stay I will definitely ask for a bathroom with a shower only not the tub as I saw many pictures of rooms with just the stand up shower not the tub. 100% recommend

The newly renovated hotel Santa Barbara was a fantastic location, the gym was very good and our hotel room and amenities were perfect. It was expensive, but still I highly recommend!

The Hotel Santa Barbara has been recently renovated, and the property looks beautiful. Beds and bedding were super comfortable and the employees were all friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are new and clean. The only complaint I have is the room has just enough space for your suitcase.

Would stay again. Awesome location. There is no kitchen which is fine. The elevator is slow so mostly people walk downstairs. I love the entrance on state. Very quiet too. I wish they had ebikes. It would save me 150 bucks. The bikes they have are terrible. They saved my sandwich in the refrig so I can eat in chicago. 8.5 / 10. If you are staying fitst time SB this place is perfect. Im From SB so the location was great.

Nice staff, clean hotel and room. Really loud bar directly next to the hotel. Overall a little pricey for what it is.

Another issue was the front receptionist, a man with shoulder-length hair—who was extremely rude and inconsiderate. His overall demeanor was very off-putting and made the experience less welcoming. Unfortunately, the staff in general wasn’t very friendly. There was only one lady who was genuinely nice and helpful. Overall, I expected a much more welcoming experience, especially for the price.

I slept like a baby in a very long time.

The staff were friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean. I got a historic queen room. I’d go back again to stay at this hotel!
