Helpful staff! Our first room wreaked of mold and the dining staff is sooooo slow! The food is also pretty bad.

The staff were amazing. John on valet, the 2 girls at the front desk, james at Concierge. The view is gorgeous, and the gardens are lush. Quiet and peaceful. Toilet paper is not of great quality. Roms couldod with an update. ie throws

We have loved El Encanto for over 35 years and this year was no different, but the gym was under renovation & instead 2 rooms were provided with weights & stationary bike & treadmill, which was a disappointment to my family.

The location is great—close enough to downtown Santa Barbara, and Ubers to Montecito/Santa Barbara were only $12–18 per trip. I would happily book this hotel again on future visits to Santa Barbara.

Me and my husband had a very nice stay here! Our room was so spacious and spotless and featured a remarkably comfortable bed. The staff were incredibly accommodating and efficient. Great location and beautiful grounds. Overall, it’s a solid 5 star experience.
