Clean room, helpful staff , having full kitchen in our room was a great experience

Our room was on the first floor and looked like the photos online - very pretty. This hotel is more of a motel with rooms that are entered from the parking lot. Check-in was a bit unpleasant. The affect of the receptionist was a bit cold and strange. Breakfast was ok - nice variety, and the coffee was very good and nice and hot. I didn't care for the selection of pastries and bagels, but there were plenty of other options. Location is very good - just a few minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and state street. Value for price paid isn't really there, but overall, it was a nice place to stay for the fourth of July weekend. It was a birthday trip and it would have been nice if the hotel had acknowledged that in some way.

TV control did not work properly - took 3 trips over 2 days for a simple fix Location is great - walking distance to beach, harbor, downtown

The customer service was phenomenal the staff alone would be a reason to return! The room was clean and very spacious exceeded our expectations. We definitely plan on returning the experience is worth the return

This was an affordable stay with convenient kitchen. The continental breakfast was good for the morning. However, we did have to move rooms due to an ant problem in the first room. The staff did ask if we could allow them to clean and spray before offering to give another room, but did not want to stay in the same room with kids after they sprayed repellent which we felt was reasonable. They did accommodate us with a different room which did not have a pest problem but for some reason there was an issue with the phone with the speaker phone turning on itself in the middle of the night while the family was sleeping. While it does have good attributes, there is still room for improvement.

Room was a bit outdated. No place to put clothes besides one small closet. No drawers no luggage racks. No bathroom counters for toiletries.

Amazing customer service! They have not lost the art of hospitality! Free Happy hour! Downsides- The room looked nothing like the picture. Old gross carpets, cracked baseboards, weird smell. Comfortable bed. Pool was never PH balanced nor cleaned from what we could tell. Hot tub is very small for a hotel. Not terribly close to the beach.

The front desk person was so helpful and lovely! We got a nice room with a kitchen and fridge. Very very nice, would love to stay again.

Bed sheets were stain, and we requested to be changed, it was hard to sleep because the pillows were horrible to sleep on.

The beds were super comfortable. Our room wasn’t as updated as some but we still found it perfectly nice, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed too. We also loved the pool and hot tub, and the breakfast and happy hour were great perks as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to the pier and aquarium area, which was doable and fine for us. They advertise bikes at a sister hotel but none were the size for my 5 year old, which they told us when we checked in. We loved walking tho - such a beautiful city and fantastic weather. No complaints - def recommend!

We stayed here with our family at five, and it was perfect. Loved the happy hour, breakfast, pool, and in-room kitchen. Super clean and lovely staff!

Everything about this Inn was wonderful. Especially the staff. Very great service and extras. We were welcomed heartily even though coming in late. Parking was free and convenient. Right away, they offered us wine in the room, hot beverages and cookies in the lobby. We were impressed by the beautiful courtyard landscaping, which they call "the alley". There was a nice pool and hot tub in the courtyard, making me regret not bringing swimwear. Many liked to hang out there with their wine. The room and bathroom were spacious and it included a nice little kitchen and dining table to eat at. It was a lovely walk to Stearn's Wharf from here and it you walk the way we did you can view the largest Bay Fig tree in the nation, planted in 1877. There was no signage, but it's on the map they gave us at the front office when we checked in. The continental breakfast each morning ran long. I think 7-10 am? Along with great pastries, muffins, bagels there were hot frittatas and salsa, sausages and hot oatmeal. There were also really good fresh made coffees, packs of hot cocoa and teas, juice, fancy yogurt in glasses, milk and cereals. There was also a coffeemaker in the room and the internet was good. If I come back to Santa Barbara I would vacation here again and stay longer than 2 nights.
