Inn By The Harbor

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Inn at the Harbor. There were special amenities which we did not use -- a lovely little kitchen with sink, stove, and refrigerator. We especially enjoyed the daily breakfast which seemed like a perk. We would definitely return.

Stay was very peaceful. Staff sre very friendly. Very queit neighborhood. College is right up the street. Walking distance from the marina, beach, pier, and restaurants. 1/2 mile from downtown Santa Barbara, Paseo Nuevo shops, State street.

Also I was not able to go pass to the 5th star for some reason. When rating your hotel. But I want you to know I give 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything was great from a convenient and early check in, to round the clock coffee, and fresh fruit with the continental breakfast. House keeping staff were polite and friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. A few minutes walk to the beach and a quick uber to downtown. Would definitely book again.

Absolutely recommend this property to anybody. Clean and comfortable rooms, and the kitchen was such a plus. Didn’t think I needed one, but it really made our two nights stay that much better. Adorable layout for the whole property, helpful staff, intimate feeling.

Once we returned from dinner, we pulled down the sheets to find a stain in the middle of the sheets - I went immediately to the front desk - I was told he would comp the room for that night because no one in housekeeping was on duty and the manager wasn’t able to be gotten a hold of - we had to lay on towels over the stain … was never contacted by the manager - won’t go back

It’s not as nice as it looks. We had a terrible ant problem in our room and the a/c didn’t work properly. The wine and cheese was ok, as was the breakfast, but nothing as good as it seems from the advertising.

We enjoyed the breakfast every morning—egg frittatas, oatmeal, melon, cereal, pastries hot and cold drinks. Only downside was our room had a mild musty smell and the carpet/shower was old…I wore my thongs in the room and shower the entire time. Everything in the room felt slightly damp to me. Otherwise the Inn was quaint, quiet and centrally located—easy walk to the harbor. Jacuzzi was small but worked well and it was great to have towels poolside. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will consider staying there again.

The free breakfast and happy hour are great amenities and the location is excellent for getting around Santa Barbara!

The room is spacious and has a full kitchen. The floors were dirty and there were some ants crawling on the walls/bed which was not ideal. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is not too far from downtown but on a busy street with a good deal of vehicle traffic driving by. A bit pricey for the value

This was such a surprise. Very charming and quiet. One of the best trips the wife and I have had.

Wonderful stay. Spacious rooms. Great location, walkable to the beach and State St for those that enjoy walking. Shower water temperature had issues but was fixed right away. Pool was nice. The lobby always had ice water and lemonade. Breakfast was lovely and so was the afternoon cheese and wine. Definitely recommend and would return.

We love this hotel. we try to stay here everytime we go to visit our daughter in college. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and great area close to SBCC and beach

Great location, close to major points of interest. Staff are friendly. Hotel room is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed it.

The person at the front desk was very friendly and gave us a map of all the local restaurants and bars. The pool was stocked with clean towels for us to use, and the room was nice and clean. Would stay here again!
