Such a cute little hotel! Absolutely loved the vibe and room.

Very old, and to small. Beds need new mattress.

This is my new favorite place to stay in Santa Barbara. The decor is outstanding, the rooms quiet, the pool a nice size, the staff helpful, the location perfect to walk to downtown destinations. They even have bikes which I rode to the bike path that goes along the beach. The parking is very convenient downstairs.

Lovely and quirky hotel. In room coffe/tea not very well supplied. No milk.

Intimate and comfortable property. It was a lovely stay for my husband and I. We loved the location close to the mission and hills. Our room was spacious with a beautiful balcony. Nothing to add.

Amazing environment, location and decoration.

Palihouse Santa Barbara is a fantastic boutique hotel in downtown, offering easy, walkable access to State Street and the beach. The rooms are incredibly clean, and our room's balcony provided the perfect additional space for outdoor relaxation. The staff is wonderfully helpful and welcoming. Best of all, it is highly pet-friendly—our dog absolutely enjoyed the stay! It is a great spot to come and enjoy Southern California. Will stay here again!

If you're looking for a boutique hotel that delivers style, comfort, and impeccable service, Palihouse Santa Barbara is an absolute gem. We left already planning our next visit and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect Santa Barbara getaway.

Wonderful stay - the hotel is unique and centrally located, just a quick walk to the main drag. Room was spacious and very well appointed.

I could not have been more pleased with my accommodations at Palihouse over my birthday weekend - I will request to stay in the same beautiful room every time I return. Between the giant soaking tub, the balcony overlooking the pool, the fireplace, the kitchenette, and the comfortable bed, I could have moved in! There was a wedding party also staying on the property the same weekend, which I was a little concerned would interfere with noise, service disruption, etc. but it really wasn't an issue - it was quiet, and the staff remained attentive throughout. Even when the pool area was crowded on the final day, there was still room to lounge. I look forward to returning to Palihouse in the future for a little oasis in the heart of Santa Barbara!

Nice and eclectic

This is a beautiful property. I wish we had more time to enjoy the amenities. Our room was incredibly spacious and well appointed.

Room layout and location. Lacking amenities including: parking, bell hop, housekeeping, room service, dining, or other. There is a tiny pool and happy hour drink service. Limited breakfast (better off walking to State St.). They are charging $1000 a night for a 3-star motel experience. Cleanliness was a problem - there was a band aid on the carpet when we first walked in and our bathroom floor had not been cleaned and had a LOT of long black hair all over it. I had to clean the bathroom myself because there was no housekeeping after 2 or 3 p.m. The bathroom sink was slow to drain and smelled of sewage - reported but never fixed. The parking garage is too small to accommodate the number of rooms so we had to find street parking multiple times. The aesthetic of the place is cute but it really is like a 3-star motel (and I say motel because all entrances are outside and we had to carry our bags up a flight of stairs). I can't figure out how they are getting away with charging as much as the Ritz Carlton for what amounts to a very nice motel.

Very nice hotel and stay. Pool was a bit small, which didn't matter except that a family with kids and floaties arrived and took over the pool. Would have been nicer if this was an adults only hotel, but we understand that this was beyond the hotel staffs control. Guests do what they want to do.

Everything! From the decor, to the amenities to the location, Palihouse never disappoints!

This was our second stay at Pali House Santa Barbara. It’s our favorite place to stay! I would have given this most recent stay 5 stars except we were not told there was a wedding reception happening the one night we were there which included closing the entire patio area. There was quite a bit of noise/music but I will give the hotel credit for ensuring the music went off at 10:00pm. Other than that, we had an amazing time! Will stay again.
