The desk lady was so sweet and accommodating and the rooms were very nice and clean 🤗

The shower had visible repairs, and paint splatters all over. No coffee machine but we had a mini fridge and microwave. The bottom of bed has metal and very loud, also noise from the a/c. The lights outside are extremely BRIGHT. I did like that the street gate was locked at night. If you get an upstairs room, there is no elevator.

For a one night stay it wasn’t bad and reasonable price. Walking distance to bars and has 7eleven in front.

The parking lot is small and I had a very hard time finding parking. The hair dryer was not in my room. We never did find the ice machine.

Online it seemed like this hotel was a good hotel. Definitely not a good hotel for families with little kids. The hotel seemed like a crackhead, party hotel. There were people blasting their TVs and music till almost 5AM in the morning! This location has three stories with no elevator, stairs only. We were located on the top floor, which isn’t a problem because we are a younger family. However, the stairs did not seem stable at all. The stairs were slanted and every step it would shake and creek. It did not feel safe, walking up or down those stairs. The room seem to have been updated within the past year or so. But it was a very tight squeeze we had a room with two queen beds, and one of the beds was right up against the entry door. There are no amenities at this location. However, there is a 7-Eleven conveniently located right across the street.

Honestly the worst stay we’ve ever had in Santa Cruz, our room was extremely dirty to the point where we had to go buy cleaning supplies and clean the room ourselves because if the staff thought our room was good enough to start having guests stay in then asking them for a cleaning would be pointless. We had a small room and 80% of the outlets either didn’t work or whatever was plugged in to them would just fall out. Our TV remote was sticky regardless of how many wipes/cleanings it went through. We had a non smoking room and instantly when we walked in it smelled like cigarettes. Next door people had smoked marijuana and when the next guests checking into that room had complained, we could overhear the worker complaining as well saying that they had already cleaned the room so this was pointless and then continued to only spray febreze and left.

Our microwave didn’t work and towels and toilet paper were never restocked

Found dirty underwear behind the bathroom door. Still had fake rose petals from the previous customer. Website said breakfast, there was not any breakfast.

Staff was really friendly, room was ok ,shower was a little dusty on the top ,Tv could be a little bigger for a two bed room but other then that everything was good 👍
