Seaside Inn & Suites

I enjoyed the stay. The property had convenience stores that were within walking distance, 10 mins and less. Plenty of parking was available and accessible. Staff was kind and made the process of checking in fast and simple. The room that was reserved was very spacious. The only thing that I disliked was that one bed had sheets that were stained red which wasn't found until it was time to sleep. As well as a pillowcase that was stained. Overall though the stay was great and I would return in the future :).

Reminded me of the motels we stayed in in in the early sixties…

Too long ago to remember

There are no lamps and only one usable outlet outside of the bathroom. The lights are spotlights that come on two at once over the beds. The beds are not comfortable. Disappointed. The location appears to be considered enough of an amenity that management doesn't seem to feel others are required.

First time staying here. Front desk staff was great. Lots of parking. Room was decent. Loved that they had a microwave AND refrigerator. The bed was surprisingly very comfortable. The only complaint I had was the A/C machine was quite loud. It took me a bit to get used to but it ended up acting like white noise and didn’t keep me awake. Great value for the price and location.

We stayed 2 nights and we were woken up by the staffs children. The ladies would clean other rooms and let their kids run up and down the stairs. The first day I really tried to ignore it. But those kids were yelling, screaming, and slamming doors.

The room was clean, and it was quiet at night. The staff was friendly. Overall, a very pleasant experience, and I would happily stay here again.

Been here many times. Last fall stayed and it was nice. This time different management and a way different experience. The whole hotel had a strong unpleasant odor. The hallway was dirty and stains on the wall. The room was not very clean. Worst of all there was a mysterious stain on the sheet in the middle of the bed, was dark in color you decide what it was as I had to. Upon checkout I voiced my concern and the replay was “your all checked out” and he turned around and went back in the office and left me standing at the counter, guess they don’t care. I’m very sad to see this happen to a place that was once a cute affordable and very clean place. My family will not go back here.

Room was clean and adequate upgraded items in the room seems as there possibly may be new owners and renovations are still happening, but for the price in near the ocean, I give a 4 1/2 stars out of five

Convenient location, well maintained and clean property. Great value.

The ownership has changed. There is no more continental breakfast in the morning. Without any breakfast option, it is very pricy.

Pros: GREAT LOCATION, comfy bed, free coffee, microwave and mini fridge, good water pressure in the shower, makeup mirror, not too noisy, good room service, simple check in and check out Cons: AC was pretty loud, but it worked very well. If you are tall it's hard to get under the shower head to wash your hair/face. Would recommend, and i plan to return!

Bed was absolutely horrible it was hard as a rock. Came with 2 of the tiniest pillows ever. Walls are very thin and could hear neighbors being loud. The room was big but very outdated . The shower sucked had no water pressure. I definitely would never stay here again!

it was just a motel. everything in santa cruz is very pricy, but the price was fine.

Filthy. The front desk staff turned crazy on us when we asked if they found a missing cell phone. They started screaming at us and then claimed we were threatening them. So we waited for police to intervene and they told him they needed to give us a refund. They said they’d authorize it with Expedia and when Expedia reached out to them, they refused. Expedia is of no help either. They take your money and when there’s a problem, they will never back up their customer.

Definitely would recommend this property. Only downfall was the walking distance to the Boardwalk. Property was clean and staff was very nice.

The hotel was very clean and have a balcony. Staff was great and will go back again.

Would definitely stay here again! A little bit of a drive to the boardwalk but honestly it wasn’t too bad. Very clean, and well maintained.
