Hillside Inn

We loved the property and staff. The pool was dirty and we couldn’t use it because it was closed so that was a big bummer but other than that the room was great.

When we arrived the pool had more dirty at the bottom than the flower beds. Leaves could have been swept up and patio furniture put in their proper place instead of tossed everywhere. The vending machine was and probably empty for months. The ice machine was filthy. Trash cans stuffed to the brim and trash piled next to it not being able use the trash can. Dirt on the walls, back of the entry door. We had planned on staying 3 nights but left after two nights, In fact we were the only customers on Tuesday night and the only car in the parking lot. Need, I say more? This place is a dump! if, you're looking for something in the same price rage try the REDWOOD INN. It's clean and very well matained. That's where will head when in Santa Rosa. On, we had stayed at the Hilltop Inn in that past and it wasn't this bad. Do youself a favor and just bypass this place!!!!!!

No staff overnight. No one to bring toilet paper No toilet paper or Kleenex We had to share toilet paper from or bathroom with daughters room. Ugh AIR CONDITIONER not on when we arrived. Miserably hot No soap, shampoo in bathroom DIS I SAY NO POOL? NO POOL AS PROMISED

Pool wasnt in service but want told to us on the website or before paying . It's summer and that's one of the reasons we chose it. The price should have been lower considerong that pools are one of the main reasons behind choosing a stay. Very disappointed . Very..

Very suspicious people around

Very dirty, bed sheets had clear stains. Floor was dirty, floor needs mopping, walls and bath floor very very dirty. Chairs torn.

Parking was easy. Rooms were not updated as advertised, only bathroom and kitchen area were updated, needs new furniture and paint. It seems we stayed while it is getting updated and unfortunately did not get the remodeled room as pictured. Hot water and A/C worked. Road noise from loud cars due to proximity to main road.

Rooms were big

Everything was EXTREMELY satisfying, the pool was REFRESHING except for the leaves in it minor detail. By far one of the BETTER stays in Santa Rosa. Lots of places to eat but the Cafe there is FANTASTIC except they close early. In my opinion 2 thumbs up 👍👍!!

Large ugly dark stains on old carpet that should be replaced. Many ugly paint scrapes and damage marks on walls. Furniture quite old and worn. Bathroom fan not working; shower very slow to drain, was afraid might overflow. Due to missed maintennce, pool closed on warm summer weekend. Piles of trash on premises. Good lighting throughout room. Adequate desk space. Very good mini-fridge and air conditioning. Safeway market and 24-hour CVS drug store in easy walking distance, as are Indian food restaurants and Flamingo Resort (with restaurant and night club). Would go back because quiet at night and bed was so comfortable.

Spacious room. Extremely clean. Budget friendly stay in Santa Rosa.

I really thought their lack of flexibility was really poor. I tried to change my reservation with 72 hours notice with no luck. This lack of flexibility will have me look elsewhere on my return visits.

Otherwise clean and bed comfy. Pillows too thick. Staff very nice and helpful.

We booked this hotel specifically for the pool and water park amenities. Discovered when we got here (it is not clear on their site) that there is a substantial fee to go to the water park and even use the pool. We also booked a family suite and were sad to find that the tv in the second sleeping area had been removed and there was nothing they could do. The gal at the desk when we arrived could do nothing and the manager in the morning was downright rude. I would not recommend staying here. Ever.

Need more shampoo conditioner and soap in the room, no sugar spoon in the kitchen
