We very much enjoyed our stay! As fellow creatives, it was fun to be immersed in a Big Art Project that we learned about during the home gallery tour. It was the perfect place to spend the night with our local friends nearby. The hummingbirds and fish in the pond entertained us out of our bedroom window.

It was a unique and pleasant experience. The host is very friendly and gives a tour of his art pieces. The koi pond is fun and relaxing.

After a long drive, start your stay by feeding Koi fish and then laying on a secluded bed hanging from a tree. Breakfast is not to be missed if you have an extreme day ahead, as it mimics what top Red Bull athletes eat.

The house was cozy with warm cherry wood tones on the flooring and furniture. The room we stayed in had rich orange & red colors matching a real Persian rug on the floor. It was well appointed with a frig, coffee maker, spring water and cups. Steve was a great host, sharing his delicious homemade granola and yogurt in addition to his amazing coffee. He was very interesting to talk to and gave art tours of the house. The back yard was a treat with a koi pond, a lovely sitting area and beautiful purple-blue morning glories growing in profusion over the garden walls. The neighborhood was very walkable with interesting bungalows, large trees and nice gardens. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The host was very friendly and helpful. Even sent us a link for daytrip to go on after our stay.

We played some pool and fed the fish and enjoyed the artwork around the house as well as the company of the owner and his puppy. Over all had a laid back experience and a good time. Will be going back any time I need to stay in Santa Rosa!!! Just like being at home except we was the out of town company :)

Steve was wonderful. He made it like visiting a friend. the backyard with the koi pond was amazing. fans is the room made the temperature perfect. The other room was not occupied when we were there, so we didn't have to share bathroom, but that is the one hesitation we had. we were within walking distance of downtown and never drove while we were there which was a real plus for us. Will plan on staying here again.
