Nice and interesting place, full of mid century modern character, clean and comfortable. Would be even better with an in - room coffee machine and a quieter fridge.

Everything about our one night stay was sone so nicely! Cute staff, cute room, cute guests! The shower is fantastic! Nice amenities. Comfy bed! 10 outta 10!!!

Great little retro motel.

An incredibly charming place to stay if you’re in Santa Rosa. The staff was so helpful and friendly. I am definitely coming back the next time I am visiting!

My kid woke up with bites all over his abdomen after sleeping in the bed, even though it looked clean. There was no microwave or kettle to boil water. When I mentioned that at checkout, the staff claimed that you have to special request those, but they hadn't told us that at check in. I don't think they care much. The breakfast was a bit better than the usual "continental", but that's the only thing that makes them better than a cheaper motel. Next time I'll stay at the Redwood Inn and save a lot of money to spend on meals.

Check in person was very friendly! Breakfast was only fruit, cereal and caffeine. Was fine but did expect a full breakfast.

Arrived very late at night alone . Office was closed - It was a good thing that I thought to call ahead to tell them that . If I hadn't ,I would not have known that the office was completely closed, that there is no staff on the property & that I needed a code to get my key from a lock box. I also would not have found out that they had additional parking around the corner when their lot is full. Betty was delightful and explained all of this to me so I was prepared. However the lock boxes have a light that shines into your eyes and not directly onto the the lock box itself, so trying to see the tiny numbers on the combination lock was really hard - good thing I had my phone light and a magnifying glass in my purse. The parking lot is not secured and the neighbourhood is a bit sketchy at 2AM so I was pretty scarred. That said, the room was clean, fresh well maintained & delightful.

Great location, rooms have lovely period decorations, the outdoor spaces are relaxing and functional. Breakfast was simple and delicious. Would stay here again.

Retro style motel, excellent condition, good staff, very clean, great location in a walkable area

Check in person was great. Hotel is clean and fun. Lots of areas to sit outside. Breakfast is minimal but something to get you started.

Good hotel. Done in a retro theme - redone old motel. Rooms are pretty good size. Water pressure and showers were good. Fairly loud outside the rooms (people walking by, just talking etc) so room doors are not super well insulated. Location is good in that it is right by a big park, but not many amenities are within easy walking distance - most things are a short Uber ride away.

What a wonderful little motel! The basics: the room was clean with cute decor, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spotless with a nice shower/tub. Nice sized fridge. The bonuses: a beautiful courtyard with sculptures and trees, a nice lounge for breakfast and generally hanging out, a fire pit, there was a disco ball outside my door! I loved this charming motel so much. I was in a pet friendly room with smart sealed concrete floor and throw rugs (makes for a really nice clean pet room!). A wonderful park right across the street. The only thing I would have liked was a coffee machine in my room. But I’ll still be back, it was great!

It was pretty clean and I really like the way it is styled, doesn't feel like a regular gross hotel. The beds aren't the most comfortable and it's a motel type arrangement so it's obviously louder than being in an indoor facility. But overall I really liked it.
