Best Western Savannah Historic District

Our first room 306 was pouring rain inside at the window and another constant leak near the bed. Second room 205 had a bad leak in the corner. We were told we would be placed in a different room on the next day. We never got moved. Our stay was so miserable only because of the rain but because we paid money to be uncomfortable during our stay at your hotel.

The staff is friendly & very helpful. The included buffet breakfast was very good.

Breakfast. Room smelt musty. Low water level and no hot water. They couldn't split the bill. Spent 30 minutes trying to check out while they tried to split the bill my friend gave them 3 credit cards & it wouldn't take them. They shut down the system & it still didn't work. Ended up telling them to leave it on my account. Then on Monday my friend said they charged her account & I still had her charge on my account.

The only thing i didnt like about hotel you had to pay to park there. It isnt like the town was busy . Actually it was boring to me. Everything closes at 6 pm.

Walked into the room, carpet looked very dingy and dirty. Needs to be cleaned. The shower pressure was alright. Could get an upgrade. The air conditioner was alright but we always bring fans. The comforter was very thin so bring a blanket of you like it cold when you sleep. Overall location was Perfect location. Right down the road with no driving. Steps away from river street

The hotel is in a great location near Franklin Square, and the price was reasonable. The staff members were very friendly, considerate, and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was also good, with the usual options, including make-your-own waffles. The building is older, but that was completely understandable considering we were staying in historic Savannah. Our room stayed nice and dark in the morning, which we appreciated. The location, breakfast, price, and staff were all positives, but the condition and cleanliness of the bathroom outweighed them. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the bathroom was extremely disappointing. The floor felt slick and greasy, there was hair in the dirty bathtub, the tub had no stopper, and the bathroom sink drained very slowly. My wife felt so uncomfortable using the toilet that she covered the seat with toilet paper as if she were in a gas-station restroom. Our first-floor room also had a strong musty smell, and the carpet seemed overdue for replacement. Removing the carpet and installing more suitable flooring would probably help considerably.

The towel rod in the bathroom fell off the wall when we went to put a towel on it. There was a bag of peas left in the refrigerator. The carpet needed shampooing. The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The beds were clean and I will definitely stay there again.
