Thoughtful staff

Staff was very friendly and the beds were comfortable.

The hotel was great! Staff was friendly! Location was a quick stroll to the action on River Street. The AC could have less noisy. There was no way to stream to the apps on the TV. The AC was really loud and the bed a little springy. The parking was $45 a night. I'd likely stay there again in hopes of a better bed and less noisy AC. 😁

Location was great! Taxi dropped me off at the express location first though given correct address. Express could have saved me an hour by communicating. Reception at historic was flaky but friendly. Was very thankful for the 1:00 late checkout and surprised by a 4pm check in. Was disappointed in housekeeping male hospitality opening my door in midst of getting ready expressing his frustration with the staff and questioning me who told me I could have a late check out. Not my circus.

The room was nice, clean and smelt great as did the building but the Continental breakfast was poor. Not much to pick from, no decaf coffee, no hot food.

Very large historic hotel. Convenient location. Staff change rooms on us. The room we had florist were dirty. Socks had to be changed. Toilet didn't work. Had to call staff. Shower had a hard time getting hot water. Controls for shower we're like trying to operate the space shuttle. Used parking valet. Expensive. And service was just average for valet. Would never stay here again. Love Savannah, would return to Savannah again and again.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Savannah Historic District by IHG was great! My room was very spacious and very clean. We even enjoyed a dip in the pool which was very refreshing. I enjoyed this hotel very much and may choose to stay here in the future.

This is my 2nd stay here and I love it so much that it will probably be the place for me upon every visit 💕

Everything was great, just one thing - the pool could be a little cleaner and the pool towels a little bigger.

Close to shopping and restaurants

Fabulous friendly front desk staff, especially Brooke. Wish they had safes in the room. Parking is only valet and expensive so park a few blocks away to save money.

Breakfast was bad too much processed food cold bread,frozen fruits just really bad I couldn't eat the snacks Air conditioner making loud noise,really couldn't sleep room smell like the carpet needed to be pulled up and replaced,was not worth the money paid
