We had our kids and grandkids with us and everyone loved it. From the Dinosaur, bar, food and river view there was something for everyone. The entire staff was outstanding

Valet parking was worth it because parking is very limited around the hotel. Check in was really fabulous with Prosecco offered as well as a genuinely friendly lady to offer information about the beautiful and expansive hotel. The property is unique and in a great location right on the beautiful Savannah River. Our room was nice and AC worked good considering how hot it was outside. Our room even included a sound machine to help with a little noise from the street after 4th of July celebrations below. I can’t say enough about the uniqueness of the interior! Take the time to explore and observe the artwork, geodes, and lovely shops. Can’t wait to come back!

My stay was wonderful with exception of my room thermostat being stuck on 75 degrees. Too warm to sleep comfortably. Other than that and the unlimited fees. It’s a great experience.

We chose the JW Marriott Plant Riverside District specifically for the July 4th fireworks, and the river view room delivered exactly what we hoped for. The fireworks are set off from a barge in the Savannah River directly in front of the Savannah Convention Center, which is almost straight across from the hotel — so our room had a clear, unobstructed view of the whole show. The kids loved being able to watch it all from the window while avoiding the huge crowds below on River Street. The location is ideal: you're right on the riverfront with restaurants, live music, and shops in the Plant Riverside District. During our stay we also took a dinner cruise on the Savannah Riverboat, which boards nearby — good food, nice views of the waterfront, and something the whole family enjoyed. Overall, a memorable Independence Day weekend. Tip for future guests: request a river view room and book well in advance for July 4th — it's worth it for the fireworks alone.

Amazing property with many restaurants. Only complaint was they closed too early on a Friday night
-
The property has 3 main buildings with their own themes and hotel rooms. Over a dozen restaurants throughout that offer a ton of variety. The art and design features are phenomenal. This is a destination within itself. Add the ease of getting to the surrounding historic area and you have the PERFECT place for your next trip to Savannah. We had a small housekeeping issue upon arrival that was quickly corrected. The manager gave us a room credit to use at the restaurants and bars for the inconvenience. Don't miss taking a trip down the slide at the rooftop bar!

Very unique property and awesome location. But be advised....parking fee and resort fee will add $100/night unexpectedly.

This was my 2nd time staying at this property by choice for work and I love it. It’s so unique and a wonderful property. Well worth the cost. Room was very nice and comfortable with a luxurious bathroom. The front office staff were kind and let me send a couple of documents to them to print. I just wish I had had more time to stay there and explore Savannah.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful! The staff were extremely friendly, the rooms were beautiful and they had so many bars and restaurants on site that were incredible. I can’t wait to come back and stay at this property again!

We are two of us and we stayed one night like the river walk and rooftop bar ❤️❤️

Location of the JW Marriott was superb. Easy to walk to all locations. A lot to see and learn about history, so bring comfortable shoes and pay attention. Food was delicious at all the spots we ate at. It’s was extremely humid but that’s what happens when you go in June. I heard October to March is really nice. We will be back.

Everything was amazing, except for a couple of hiccups with the valet. When we went to retrieve our car, they had matched my ticket to the wrong vehicle. Luckily we caught it while we were still grabbing our luggage, but it could have been a much bigger problem. I'd hope the staff pays closer attention to keeping cars and tickets straight. On top of that, checkout took over 15 minutes after we got the "5 minute" ready text. Great hotel overall, but the valet service could use some improvement. Especially given the cost.

This place was amazing. Top to bottom everything exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this stay.
-
Destination and valet fees were exorbitant and not disclosed. Otherwise this property is great

Perfect location
-
The history and the style Couldn’t find ice machine.
-
Great experience! Very interesting history on the building and an absolutely ideal location! It’s rare to not have a single interaction with hotel staff that is subpar but in this case, everyone we encountered went above and beyond to accommodate. I would highly recommend the JW as a top contender for Savannah!
-
Parking fee high we did not move car in three days and paid $175 for parking
