JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District

The staff was great, the customer service was awesome, and the property was immaculate.

The rooms face in words if that makes any sense so there is a risk of it being a little bit loud, but we actually didn’t have any problems. It’s just something that I could see as a potential negative. Otherwise this place is amazing and I’m giving it five stars because it’s such an interesting decor and great location.

The hotel is a lot of fun - just so different from other places I have stayed - loved the refurbished plant and some of touches left from the plant - of course the dinosaurs - and being on the water is a great location! The staff were so nice and helpful!

Nice building and great staff. But, I’ll never stay there again. Way too much of a party atmosphere. The big thing is there is a nightclub on the roof of one of the hotel buildings that blasts club music until 1 AM. It’s so loud the bass shakes the room. The fact this isn’t mentioned during booking seems way out of line for a Marriott. We also had to call security because the room upstairs sounded like there was a fight going on, complete with screaming and banging on the exterior windows. I’m not whiny or overly sensitive, but the whole experience was weird. (to the credit of the staff, after I called security, they did take care of it pretty quick and the noise stopped in the room above us.) Like I said, weird environment for a Marriott and I won’t be back.

There were just 2 minor issues, and that was the ice maker on our floor was not working the 5 days that I was there, and the creamer in my room for coffee was spoiled the first morning. Again, these were minor issues as I appreciate having liquid creamer and not powder.

Great staff and beautiful property

What an amazing property! 4.5 acres of stunning architecture, industrial and museum pieces! Everywhere you look was something that made your jaw drop! The rooms had unique touches and there was every kind of restaurant you could imagine on the grounds. I have never seen a more beautiful property.
