I cannot say enough how wonderful my stay was. Everything was perfect. Loved the charm of the hotel. Staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful.

Beautiful time period rooms. Staff very helpful. Couldn't get a parking spot in the small lot, but the parking garage was convenient and right around the corner. Don't let parking stop you from staying here. Very convenient location to everything.

Fantastic hotel, great staff and beautiful rooms. Could not have asked for anything better. From the moment you walk in with Mallory greeting you, to the charm and character of the hotel, gorgeous plank flooring and brick walls make you feel as if you're stepping back in time with all of the modern amenities. Not to mention free soda, coffee and water all day. East Bay Inn does it right and the service was exceptional. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay again.

The East Bay Inn is a favorite hotel of mine. Clean and well maintained rooms with plenty of space. Good location in Savannah. The staff were helpful and engaging. Looking forward to my next stay.

Arrival is sort of crappy. No parking to unload basically unless double parking upfront, or block other arrivals in the parking lot that is minuscule. Our parking was a block a way in a unattended parking garage in high crime area. At check in they send you a text with a parking pass elsewhere. The paid parking area is supposed to be guarded but the blinds are down in the booths to hide no one is there. You are on the back foot checking in since you want to unload after a 6 hour drive. Unload the car, and are in a rush to get out of a no parking zone. Rooms are filthy, black dirt under the baths, popcorn in the couches, loud traffic. They provide ear plugs in a basket. Fire Alarm went off after a maybe homeless person entered. Hotel evacuated but seems this is common. You can barely hear fire alarm as there is not ADA light flashers in the room and since they provide ear plugs the evacuation was lackadaisical. I kept the provided ones. I had to direct people since they only ever to have one staff member who is playing solitaire or doing social media. Doors are locked early as I was told by one staff due to homeless wanting to use restrooms. "You let one in and the rest come". They did let one in and then I am running up the steps to evacuate my deaf wife who removed her hearing aids. I was told that when I mentioned this to corporate management, we should have notified them that at check in or on expedia in comments.

Property is in a great area for exploring River St and all things in the historic district. We were not overly happy with the cleanliness of our room. Water bottle found behind the bed (not from us). Underneath the tv console and the surrounding hard wood floor was months of dust and dirt. I understand that this is an old historic building which is what drew us here but it was so humid in the room. There was a dehumidifier but laying in bed at night we felt damp. The a/c was great at getting it cold but it was really loud during the night. The bed linens were always damp. The room itself had beautiful high ceilings and old antique furniture that made it feel special. Bed was big and comfy and bathroom was clean with nice towels. Free parking is such a bonus in this area. Debi's Restaurant is great for breakfast and lunch. The attached bar, Tandem, is great for cocktails. Loved the bartender (sorry forget her name)! Staff were all wonderful. We interacted with them on many occasions and all were so cheerful and hospitable.

The architecture and decor were great. Very convenient location for the waterfront and historic district. Awesome that it included parking.

The location is excellent, right across from River Street. Easy to walk, felt very safe at all times.
