Motel 6 Savannah, GA - Midtown

No microwave in room. TV did not work. Bed had hair in the linens The entire property was in a state of disrepair. Only thing that worked well was the ice machine. If you just want a cheap room with a shower and your not concerned about amenities or cleanliness this hotel would be a good choice. But there are a lot of other options in that price range nearby

Nice area but not this hotel unfortunately. Definitely not a safe family friendly environment, but that's to be pretty much expected from this hotel chain in the area.

Room was terrible but service we received was even worse. Room smelled like mildew and Marijuana but we were called "crazy" because "it's a non smoking room". Dirt in the beds, ceiling falling in, spiders UNDER the mattress. When I went to the service desk to ask for a refund so I could stay elsewhere, the front desk worker was very smart mouthy and the "assistant manager" shouldn't even be one as she told my child "if you would move your big head i could see the sign." Assistant manager was very unhelpful as she was too busy hanging out with her two male friends in the lobby who also had things to say under their breath to and about us. We were told that our expectations were too high to stay at their hotel. But since when was expecting a clean place to sleep too much? SAVE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT WASTE IT ON THIS PLACE. TRASH. TRASH. TRASH. ZERO STARS.

Junk hotel where people who are down on their luck LIVE. Walked into the lobby and knew I was in trouble. It was filthy. Should have known better to go to the room but I did. There were bicycles everywhere and half dressed men leaning over the railing smoking marijuana hollering how nice my truck was. Got to the room and was afraid to touch anything. For a non smoking room, tops of gen dressers were covered in cigarette ashes. The floors hadn’t been swept in a month of Sundays. Cobwebs hanging off every piece of furniture. Nastiest place I’ve ever entered. I took pics and left and told the front desk attendant that it was nasty and we would not be staying. She apologized but did not seem shocked. Expedia made it right and refunded my money. Went to the opposite side of town and stayed. I have never been more shocked in my life in a place that someone thinks I’ll lay my head and sleep. Only reason I gave it a 1 star is because zero stars wasn’t an option.

The clerk behind the counter was very nice. The room was dirty and it stayed wet. The floor was not clean. My daughter feet was black from the floor. The room had a smell and the guest looked like they where high, crazy or who knows what. Bad Bad Bad !!

Our room had dead roaches, holes in the walls, the refrigerator was nasty, the dresser was missing drawer front, hair in the bathroom. Advertised breakfast NO breakfast. Was told wrong hotel do better next time. We stayed because it was so late. Need a refund.

Don’t get me wrong I understand it’s a Motel 6 but don’t false advertise, there was drawing and stickers on the dresser and headboard. We only had very minimal space to put our things any where and the floor was not going to be one of them. No fridge or microwave. I wish they could be better for themselves

Location to hospital Room flooded with water because sweated. Nothing was done. Shoes and socks soaked

The walls were covered in scuffs, stains, paint marks, visible patches, and cracks. The door frame and hinges were dirty and rusty, making the room feel unclean from the moment I entered. Overall, the room looked worn down and not properly cared for, which was far different from what was advertised. I documented the condition of the room with photos and videos immediately upon arrival as proof. I requested a refund because the room was not in acceptable condition, but my concerns were not adequately addressed. If this matter is not resolved, I intend to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the appropriate consumer protection agencies. I will also consider pursuing any legal remedies available. I would have much preferred for Motel 6 to resolve this issue directly, but customers deserve clean, safe, and well-maintained accommodations, especially when they have already paid for their stay. I cannot recommend staying at this location based on my experience.

The room is clean—bad neighborhood. Very Loud music played all evening; I cannot get any rest. The police were called several times.

Friendly staff person behind the counter. Decent location being close to a lot of what Savannah has to offer Room advertised as non smoking.Immediately smelled smoke as soon as I entered the room. Next find were several holes in the drywall as well as every wall in the room having stains. Lastly and most concerning were cockroaches both dead and alive on the floor. Friendly staff person behind the counter was gracious enough to let us look at another room to find the same thing. Ultimately decided to leave as room(s) was unfit for occupancy. I realize it’s not a 5 star property but what we found entering the room no traveler no matter how much room cost shouldn’t have to deal with. Have pictures to prove everything. Currently dealing with booking.com to get my money back.
