Pros: Convenient location Very clean Lots of parking Comfy bed Nice TV Window opens Full-size fridge Nice island for eating Laundry room Gym Cons: Ceiling light and switches are an odd setup... witing is likely incorrect. Most of the electrical outlets are loose and won't hold a plug. I plugged in a phone charger, and i2 seconds later it sparked and fell out. There is a very odd, organic-type smell throughout the hotel. No hairdryer No iron No tissues The only toiletries they offer is 1 bar of soap and one tiny tube of shampoo. Bathroom only stocks towels for 2 No cleaning service Only 1 trash can we had to take it out to the dumpster ourselves. Only 1 luggage trolley No coffee maker in room No cooking or eating utensils for kitchen. Some other things to note: There was a person hanging out in the lobby with a pet the entire time we were there. It was strange. My impression is they are over-budget on operating expenses.

My family of 5, (with 3 small kids under the age of 6), were never able to stay in our room in the two nights booked. We reserved 7 total rooms for our party and were not able to join them.

Picked hotel because it was pet friendly , close to Portland (15 min), and more affordable than in the city. We got there half hour early and the front desk was very helpful and checked us in early. We got a room on 4 th floor, a bit incovenient with the dog going up and down the elevator several times a day. After reading other reviews, I decided to bring my own towels, toiletries and hair dryer. The room didn’t have any. Front desk guy was helpful and provided 2 towels. Room was clean, AC worked well, comfortable bed and pillows, blinds blocked light well enough, several hangers were available. They also had a laundry basket. Kitchen had all appliances advertised, several clean dishes in the dishwasher (breakfast bowls, glasses and some utensils), also a kitchen towel, but no tissues or soap in the bathroom. Small grassy area around the back door for dogs, with poop bags and garbage can. The water fountain wasn’t working that well, barely a trickle, took a while to fill up half the bottle, but they had a stocked vending machine. When we got there on Fri afternoon , there was plenty of parking, but by Saturday it got busy, less spots to pick from when we got back late at night. It was pretty quiet, considering they seemed full. Coffee available in the morning by the front desk, but not that good, and no milk, only creamer. Coffee shop 10 min walking distance, with several choices of bagel/biscuit sandwiches, very generous portion of eggs, good croissant. Would recommend.

AVOID IF YOU CAN!!! There's a kitchen but no cookware or kettle to boil water, beds creak at the slightest movement, mattresses were uncomfortable, rooms were not soundproofed well (you can hear people stomping in the room above you, people next to your room closing doors, etc.), and housekeeping only comes every 2 weeks!! Every time you need new towels, you would have to bring the old towels to the front desk to exchange. Anytime you need anything, the staff will default to telling you to go to the Walmart across the street.

No toilet paper. Everything else was fine.

I am a weekly traveler that stays at this facility 90% of the time and everything is always very very good. There is no breakfast and the coffee machine is consistently inconsistent. The staff is always great and there is new manager Corey who is outstanding.

Overall it was clean, but the TV in our room was not hooked up. I think it has potential but it was not properly staffed to run at capacity.

Great staff. Accommodating and nice. The property itself was pleasant. The space and the location were ideal (there is a big shopping center right across the street), and downtown Portland was quick to get to. Also, around the corner was a nice local brewery and coffee shop. Parking lot was spacious. Cons: There is no "lounge" area or other room where you can hang out if you can't get to your room, or if you have to wait for your room or other people, or if you just want a change of scenery. Some guests were driving very fast in the parking lot. We traveled with small kids and at least once, I didn't think it was safe for my kids to be in the parking lot (granted, they are kids and they are spontaneous). Yes, we watch them, but one car went down the "driveway" going at least 35 mph. Perhaps the hotel can put up some signs like "Slow Down", kids crossing, 15 mph, etc. The rooms were clean, but they could've been cleaner. The floors could definitely be vacuumed and mopped more, especially in the bathroom and around the kitchen area. We had a crawling infant and we had to restrict her from crawling all over the place because I didn't think it was clean enough. There was sticky stuff around the kitchen floor (that we cleaned). Perhaps each room can have a boot/shoe tray where you can store your shoes. Thanks!

This new hotel brand is VERY limited service. It has no significant common space or amenities at all and no food service, free or otherwise. It does have a coffeemaker in the lobby from 4:30 am to 11 am but the coffee isn't very good. The place is a challenge if you don't have a car. There are no nearby restaurants, although you can walk 3/4 mile to get to a Walmart and buy things to cook in the microwave or even on the little stove in the room. The room was spacious and incredibly clean. It has the basics that you need but it is no-frills. There is no work desk, just a high counter with stools, which was sort of OK for trying to work. This hotel is good for an extended stay provided you have a car. It was less expensive than my other options, so I guess I got what I paid for. I might stay at this brand of hotel again but I might not.

Everything was great besides taking a cold shower.

Clean overall, but there were no amenities such as a hair dryer or an iron. It’s more like an apartment than a hotel. The staff was friendly.

An extremely disappointing stay. We were traveling with another couple and arrived around 6pm. I checked in at the kiosk and they used the front desk who told them there might not be any clean rooms. Meanwhile, I had successfully obtained a room through the kiosk. The gentleman at the front desk seemed astonished that I had secured a room. On entering the room, it was apparent it had only been partially cleaned. Crumbs on the counters, on the upholstered chair and floor. Food left in the cupboard by a previous guest. I attempted to sit at one of the two chairs at the kitchen island and the seat detached from the frame and crashed onto the floor. It had only been secured by one very loose bolt. The other chair’s seat had only been attached with 2 bolts instead of the required 4. Amenities were severely lacking. No coffee maker. No tissues. No hairdryer. One bar of soap that we had to transfer between the bathroom sink and shower. One tiny bottle of shampoo. The towels were rolled & stored in cubby holes in the bathroom and on using them, we discovered they were all damp, apparently removed from the dryer too soon. We were unable to use the deadbolt on the door because it didn’t match up with the frame. There were no stands for our luggage. There was a nickel on the nightstand, perhaps a sarcastic tip to housekeeping left by the previous guest. The hotel is fairly new, but has been open long enough that these issues should’ve been resolved. Marks my first & last stay.

When we entered the room, we noticed that the bed was moved away from the AC unit and the AC unit cover was removed. When we turned on the AC it worked okay but was cooler than outside. In the morning, a maintenance crew member knocked on our door and we discovered they needed to work on that room. When we went to the front desk, they said that they were sold out and will work on the AC unit that day. When we returned from our days of exploration, it was fixed and worked very well. They also give us a $32 discount for the night. Overall, it was a pleasant 2 day stay.

It was a good experience and fit our family vacation needs. AC was nice and cool. The staff was friendly and attentive. Thank you.

Same with blow dryer, I had the option to “rent” one at the front desk, except none were available, and weren’t for my entire 5 day stay. No soap, shampoo only, no conditioner. Under available amenities, when it says “shampoo”, it really does mean just shampooCoffee in lobby only available until 11am. Gym very minimal equipment, not really worth anything unless you’re just doing cardio and there’s no one else in there. Lobby smelled of weed every time I went through it. Oh, and the cherry on top was there was no hot water the first 2 days of my stay. I really have nothing positive to say about this hotel except it is new and still in relatively good shape.
