WiFi did not work coz of thunderstorms Fire alarm kept blowing multiple times at night coz of thunderstorms

Dated property but it was a good price and the staff was helpful and friendly

The staff and the food was amazing however this resort is desperate need of updates very outdated hotel

I had a late check in. I went to bed around 11p. The fire alarm goes off at 245am, I tried calling the front desk, my room phone did not work, I vacate, and it turns out it's done this alarm once before that day, according to another visitor. I go back to my room and the alarm goes off at least 5 more times that night. I got no sleep.

We realized we had no towels in the room. So I called down there, sat on hold for 15 minutes. Finally walked down there. Was told they couldn’t give me any but would bring some up. This was at 7pm. Nobody ever came. We couldn’t take showers. Went to sleep. At midnight, they knocked on our door. I yelled that we were sleeping. And she said “oh. You don’t need the blanket anymore?” I yelled back that I needed towels hours ago. That night, the fire alarm went off 3 times. To which we had to get up all 3 times, get dressed and go sit outside till the fire department came. So basically, ZERO sleep that night. That morning when we left to go visit family, there were signs on all the doors stating the fire alarms were broke. So basically, if there was a fire the following night, we were going to be screwed. We were exhausted from no sleep the night before so our whole weekend was ruined. We basically spent 4 hours visiting family. When taking a shower, water would go EVERYWHERE. So when going to the bathroom, you were always standing in water. And no fan in the bathroom so water dripped from lights and ceiling all over your belongings and toilet paper. Only positives; room was clean and air worked amazing. But would never stay again. Pathetic.

Property needs major upgrade.

I was at your hotel for 3 days and housekeeping never replaced my towels or provided toilet paper. I had to go down to reception and request for some.

I was disappointed with the condition of the hotel. It is run down and hasn't been maintained as it should. The window in our room was so cloudy and dirty that we could barely see outside. There is obvious water damage throughout the hotel. The parking lot is badly in need of repair. We received very little information when we arrived. Check-in felt rushed. The lobby was the only nice area that we saw in the hotel. We did not go to the restaurant due to the condition of the hotel and the mixed reviews. The only real upside was that we were only staying one night.

Location is very close to O’Hare, and shuttle was convenient and helpful. Lobby was nice. Overall it felt old and in need of a refresh. The hallways had an old/must/smoke odor, I really noticed it when the elevator stopped on floor 3. Hallways and everything was brown and felt old. Not a fan of carpet in the rooms and mine had a stain. While the rooms themselves and bathroom were clean, it felt tired. I also didn’t like the marketing here on booking.com. I selected a location with “private parking” but then the day of get a text from the hotel that it may not be available and they will direct me to nearby public parking? Also private doesn’t mean included, only after booking do I see in my confirmation a note that parking is $12/day. But then they tell me the day of check in it’s $15, and when I get there I get a paper that says it will be $17.25, which is what the $15 is with tax. The desk tells me the $12 is for “long term” parking. Either way, it wasn’t transparent at all when booking. With no included parking or breakfast I wish I had just booked somewhere else. I would not choose this location again.

We booked this hotel specifically because there was a pool. We were happy to see the pool was open until 11pm. We got in around 10:20ish pm rushed to get our swim attire on and got downstairs around 10:37. We found out from the front desk even though the pool is open until 11pm entrance to the pool was only until 10:30pm. The pool was the only reason we didn't chose another option. We were very upset by this. The staff gave us no time or attention over this.

The location was good, the lobby was clean, the staff was friendly. The room 326 wasn't the greatest. The bathroom was nasty it needed a good deep clean the toilet appeared unusually small and ran most of the time. The smoke detector needed a new battery and when Eugene came to replace the battery his demeanor wasn't pleasant. Everything outdated. Mattress was yellow and sheets were stained. Walls are thin. Very unhappy due to the price I paid.

Our hotel smelled old. Either the rugs, room or something…. It was uncomfortable. The staff was so nice, but the hotel co conditions was poor

It’s beginning to show its age and there were hairs in the bathroom.

Hotel overall is dirty.
