Great shuttle service 👍

The first room we were given had curly black hairs in the bedding and a broken sink drain. The second room had long black hairs in the bedding, a pill and straw wrapper on the floor and no bath towels. The manager was nice and apologized but the girl who checked us in was rude and acted as if she did not believe that our room was really dirty. And they also charge a $150 security deposit which is outrageous. We only stayed here because they had a 24 shuttle to the airport but we definitely will not stay again.

The furniture was a bit outdated. There was a huge armchair in the room and the arms Upholstery was worn down to the boards. The bed was on a pedestal covered with frying fabric. The bathroom was updated and fresher than the rest of the sweet. I guess the sleeping area could just use a facelift.

The greeting at reception was literally, "I need an ID and a credit card". No baggage carts on site. No ice making possible in the room as the handle on the ice maker was broken. Both room windows unsecured upon arrival. Coffee maker in the main lobby out of order throughout weekend. Otherwise, our stay was comfortable.

The coffee machine was broken in lobby. The room was dirty. We had to move rooms and that room was dirty. When we asked to get new towels the night staff was rude.

1. The check-in process is time consuming and indicative of a location that may have experienced problems with guests. Check-in requires that you sign a 2-page document explaining the behavior violations that are unwelcome and for which you can be fined or removed. And multiple arriving guests seemed not to have the necessary funds or perhaps identification to be checked in. The result is that two parties were at the desk for 15-20 minutes trying and not being able to checkin; thus at 7:00pm when I arrived I waited on a line for over 30 minutes with 5 others before my turn to start the check-in process. 2. The provided food and beverages for sale have exorbitant pricing. A 16 oz bottled water cost $10.00. 3. The facilities are shabby everywhere - nicks and dents in the elevator including the floor; stuffing coming out of the side chair in my room; weak ventilation so the thin bedding was moist to the touch; but the worst was NO lighting in the bed portion of the room, only two other weak lights provided in the kitchen/desk area - one overhead in kitchen area and one dim one over the desk - so I couldn't properly work.

The staff was very nice and always ready to help us when needed! Bed slept good and it was very hygienic! I wished we could pay contactless but that’s okay! Lesson for next time.

AC was leaking and the carpet was wet

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This Sonesta did not live up to the name. Upon entering the building it smelled of urine and the lobby was dirty. When I approached the counter and spoke to the staff she barely spoke back and was very rude. They charged $10 for parking and then asked for $150 incidental fee. This hotel does not offer any amenities, no food service, no pool no free parking but wants to hold $150 for one night. That is more than a Los Angeles hotel requires. Due to the uncleanliness of the hotel, smell and bad attitude of staff I would not recommend this property. I asked to canceled and they refused the request but I rather forfeited money than to stay here. What is even more annoying is the manager was there and allowed her staff to serve customers with such a nasty attitude. This is why I took my money down the street to Best Western. You walked into their lobby and said this is what a hotel should smell like.

Misc charges that they say Expedia doesn't disclose lol...almost $500 in charges I now have to fight. Can't recommend.

Place are dirty and aweful

Parking Extra Charge of $50 to check in 1.5 hours earlier. Over priced. As a retired Airline Employee I did not receive the 50% Airline discount after all those years supporting them. False advertising on Booking.com.

The rooms are large and equipped with cooking appliances and fridge. There was some coffee, but only fake sugar and no milk or cream. There is no breakfast served and no coffee in the lobby. The room was updated but still felt old. The leather on the chair at the desk was all torn up. Bathroom was fine. Plenty of good quality towels Carpet in the hallways is passed its prime. My flight had been cancelled at the Chicago airport and I had to find a place for the night. This hotel came with a shuttle, which was awesome, but the telephone number given to call this shuttle just rang forever with no one answering it. Thankfully the shuttle showed up anyway so I got the ride after all. There is a nice array of food to buy at check in, with some full frozen meals you can cook in the microwave, handy. I slept very well, it was peaceful and the mattress was comfortable.

room smelled

Great location. Very good nightly price. Very kind employees. Fridge, microwave, kettle, all worked beautifully! TV is amazing- lots of tv stations that work well, so I think it’s cable, and not that infuriating poor quality satellite tv that works poorly. Complaint is that room very dusty and carpet not vacuumed.

I caught it immediately (in seconds) with the confirmation, asked to reschedule for “tonight,” and was refused. Awful and stupid. Asked for cancellation and refused. Awful. Did they really want to keep my money for a room for tomorrow night, that they still could have sold, rather than “tonight” which I wanted, and which probably had no more buyers by then? I don’t know if it was Expedia’s fault or Sonesta’s, but regardless - apparently they’re in agreement.

Room was nice and clean. Staff was helpful and nice, and the hotel shuttle was quick and painless.

Please update your pictures online. In person looks way different from Expedia pictures. It was enough to stay overnight for our flight but wouldn’t stay there outside of one night.
