Sonesta Simply Suites Chicago O'Hare Airport

Room was clean. The staff was friendly. They offered free airport shuttle 24 hours, which worked great for an early morning flight.

Both my daughter and I were pleasantly surprised by the courteous and helpful staff. They were great. Also the suite was nice and had a spacious living area.

The room was alright but it wasn't properly cleaned.

The staff at this hotel is wonderful, however, they are terribly understaffed. Things were missing from the room, like the iron and the laundry basket, 2 of the 4 bathroom lights were blown out,. The kitchen sink handle was broken, the mattress of the pullout couch was beyond stained (multiple brown stains), there were no sheets or blankets for the pullout and the living room ceiling leaked onto the couch and table. The staff fixed and replaced what they could, and offered to switch my room. The hotel could use an upgrade for sure, but they get 5 stars for staff effort.

Hotel looks tired, carpet in the hallway was dirty and appeared to be left without being vaccuumed regularly. Lights above the mirror in the bathroom did not have any switch, therefore they were useless. Room felt dark with no adequate lights. The only good thing about this hotel is close distance to O'Hare and it provides shuttle services to the airport.

It was 2-3 am British time & I was exhausted. All I wanted was a clean bed, bathroom and a cup of coffee. There was no breakfast by the way. I high tailed outta there as soon as I had showered and went to the airport. I would never go back. At least it was clean.

Large rooms and great location near the airport. Good value compared to other accommodations in the area. This is my 3rd time staying here and I'll probably book it again next time. The biggest thing they could do to improve for me is to add an option for booking the airport shuttle from the airport that doesn't require making a traditional phone call. I don't have a voice plan on my SIM in the US, only data. Taking pick-up requests by WhatsApp (with either voice or text) or Booking.com's message system would help me a lot. I don't want to pay extra to upgrade my travel SIM to a voice calling plan just for this one purpose of arranging my airport pick-up during my Chicago stop.

They needed to replace the microwave in the room. It kept beeping so we unplugged it. Other than that, everything else was fine.

simple exactly what we needed, the value was excellent. there needed to be a second chair for a Devon person to eat at the table. also laundry room needed a chair while waiting for the laundry to be done.

AirPort shuttle bus is great.

The grills were very convenient and easy to use.

Older property but at least in my room everything worked. Bed was comfortable, room was reasonably clean, so it served the purpose for overnight. It has 24 hr shuttle, but the wait for pickup at the designated gate was quite long, over 20 minutes. The property advises to order the shuttle at least 30 minutes ahead of the time you need to be at the airport. The price was attractive and location near the airport is a plus.

This was by far the worse experience that I had during a layover. I booked this hotel during a layover. When I arrived I was told there was a full house and had to wait for a room to become available and cleaned in order for me to check in. Giving that the reservation was made well in advance I was so confused as to how they did not have a room ready for me upon arrival. I would certainly not be returning.

Very smelly room and staff was not accommodating at all!

We stayed here the night before our flight and parking was $10 per night when we stayed, $17 per night while we were gone.

Pretty quick check in and out for a quick overnight layover at ORD. The lack of a working coffee maker in the lobby was a disappointment for our very early morning departure.

Older hotel, but relatively clean and very quiet. The refrigerator in my room was rattling and the staff very graciously moved me to a different room. Convenient on-demand airport shuttle. Helpful, friendly staff.

Room service shall attend cleaning the room daily. We were expecting that it will be done without asking as we have not posted the DND tag on the door.
